Finally got here, rowing my little refugee boat of lashed together posts up the bandwith stream. **waves** I'm JensenRick, just about everywhere online, so here too. The name comes from Jensen Beach, Florida- because that's where I am- Sunny South Florida, with my golden retreiver, Dakota. I've decided that I'm too old now for internet crankiness, so I've adopted a "wag more, bark less" attitude. I'm a big Supernatural fan (surprise!), and consider myself bi-bro, although I readily admit that I identify with Sam the most, and he's my fave. Of course I also like Dean, and my other fave characters are Ellen, Rufus, Lucifer, Sheriff Mills and Bobby. The other shows I'm very enthused about at the moment are- American Horror Story and Revenge. Hey JensenRick. Happy to see you again! I am bi-bro too, but can go ape over either of the boys if it strikes my fancy. They are both great! I know we can use you in the bi-bro, Sam threads. So glad you found us. It's so heartwarming to see so many of our CW friends here! |

Well, I guess you'll just have to grab Dick to defeat him. But don't get too close to him, because no one wants a mad Dick in their face. (Well, maybe Olivia does) ![]() ![]() OMG .....we would so never have gotten away with that on the CW!! *throws more mud at CW* I know, right?  And I didn't even say anything bad. But God knows, I love talking about Dick!!!!  |

But A: Not all sites are accepted and B: Sometimes they close down whatever is hosting the picture and you risk your avatar being salted and burned!  So yes, if you make a photobucket account - which is completely free - you can host your own pictures and avatars. Simply find whatever you wish to have as avatar on the web somewhere, and save it to your photobucket account. Then use it here. As for how to set up an avatar. - Look to the top of the page, right under the amazing banner - you'll see a row of links to PMs and whatnot. - Click on the "Profile" link and it takes you to a page showing your general info. - The top of the message box should now say: Member's Bio - Modify Profile - Bookmarks - Social Networks- Click on Modify Profile and you should see where you can activate your avatar options. Hope that helped! |

Wow what a nice welcome I'm getting  Thanks to Shadowhund for showing me how to get here. And thanks to purple dragon, ohleesa, magoghair, sarahg6, and lost cause for your warm welcomes. Thanks for all the advise on avatars too. I am fairly sure that I have a photo bucket account or equivalent. Not to be all "woe is me" but my laptop where I keep all such info was hacked on Xmas eve. Fortunately I got this kindle fire for Xmas or I wouldn't be able to web at all. They don't tell you at Best Buy how slow their "protection " is  oh well, I'll be patient and all will. Be well soon I get to learn virtual typing |
