I have tried to find her in a number of places, using her name and her horse's name. She never did much on the internet, though, as far as I know. I surely hope she will come looking for us. If she Googles the right things, she could find us pretty easily. Let's keep hoping.

It's strange... due to recent events, I find myself by The River again. This whole week has got me thinking. First, a conversation with a friend that made me get a whole new outlook on life. Then hearing the news of one of my sister's friends, and now today... life is very short, you never know when your time is up.

You know, with our family being miles apart from each other, all around this country, and some in other countries, even overseas, this has been one very lucky family if you think about it. With all the chaos in the world, what are the odds that one of those chaotic times would have taken one of us? And there were a few disasters that have hit quite close to home for a few of us in this year alone. Let's appreciate the people in our lives while we still can, because we never know what life will bring.
