Why why why did we not get one of these for the PCAs?!

I know I had a saw finger for weeks after the PCA. I could get a cheat programme up to save myself.
So it looks like e!online have reeped what they sewed...poll has gone, fandoms disgraced themselves (thanks Destiel)...

The destiels were actually losing on that poll. I was checking the poll during the Grammys and the fake Glee couple was ahead by 5% of the the destiel. The Glee girls was nearly at 50% and the destiel down to almost 44% when when suddenly there was no poll. But when ADELE :heart: was singing and all was right (again) in the world.
Forgot about the stupid poll until it was on twitter that charges of cheating was flung at destiel voters. Way to go, if you're going to cheat maybe you shouldn't discuss it on a PUBLIC FORUM!

If they were losing then the cheating wasn't working. Aren't the ones that are winning usually the ones accused of cheating?

I was just checking "destiel" on tumbler, and almost every comment I read was about how the Destiel and Faberry shippers were coming together, "shaking hands" as it were, and congratulating each on a well fought contest. Gives me hope that, despite the cheating, there is still a sense of sportmanship and well-being in fandom. |

Considering that most of the "pairings" in the final round of the poll are ship pairing with no basis in any kind of real relationship (except for Brittana), the whole poll is now one big fanwank. Real pairings like Kurt and Blaine (who I adore) lost out in favor of fictional pairings that exist nowhere except on tumblr and LiveJournal.
The Destial fans have been trying to build up what had been an interesting but deeply problematic relationship into this epic bond that would only take the slightest tweeking to make into a romantic/sexual one. But as I've said many times before, shippers are going to ship no matter how little basis there might really be for the ship. And admittedly I've shipped some pretty improbable ones in my time (Dr. Simon Tam and Jayne from Firefly is on of my favs). But while I might be a Wincest fan, I don't try to play like Sam and Dean are bumping uglies every time the door is closed.

I don't really expect balance on this site. But, what the hell, I'm going to post the other side of the story. The cheating story exploded after an obvious cheat by the Faberry side, or "anti-Destiel", or whoever did it. I personally know some good people who spent a lot of time on that poll. They're good, normal fans. Many who voted aren't even Destielers. They're just Cas fans missing Cas. Can I just tell you what happened?? By someone whose friends experienced it, and not just hearsay about a post someone saw?? Late Friday night, Destiel was ahead, barely. They went to bed, and woke up shocked on Saturday morning. Destiel was now behind almost 2%. So they spent all Saturday voting. Closing the gap was slow. It took hours to close the gap by 0.1%. These Cas fans were voting late Saturday night, painfully closing that gap, inch by inch. Then, finally around 2:00AM, Destiel pulls ahead. Right after, Faberry jumps up 2% in 30 minutes. A bot was the only explanation. After that, most Destielers quit voting, including my friends. Further, at that point, Tumblr, Twitter & comments exploded with a link showing a computer script that can beat E!Online's Captha. userscripts.org/scripts/show/125362Some Destielers might have used that script. A lot happened after that ridiculous Faberry jump. We'll never really know. But, the most obvious poll swings did not benefit Cas fans. |

The numbers were the true numbers because the only so called fans that would vote in a couples poll for two people, one of them who is actually in the show and proven to be NOT gay at all would be the delusional.
This was not a SPN poll vs Glee...it was a shippers poll trying to prove that they for some reason can talk about this being canon, which it never ever will be and has never ever shown to be...quite the opposite..even though one side of that Dean Castiel isn't even in the show.
Glee won because it has the bigger fandom..and in a way Glee is all about the sexual relationships and SPN is not...so there are no couples in Supernatural.
Well now we know if Castiel wins any poll....its probably due to cheating.
