He also posted on my Facebook telling me Happy Birthday. He does that almost every year! He's such a good friend just like you. I didn't, but you thanked me anyway.  I was still grateful that you said something. |

I wish Kim could come here so I could tell her. I'll say it anyway. I had bad experiences 2 of the last 3 weeks with new people at the grocery store.
The one girl was trying so hard to please me that it backfired. First she put my stuff in plastic bags without asking, but I said no to that. But then it got more difficult because she would ask about everything. Did I want my milk in a bag? Well, of course. Who wants clean milk touching the dirty back of my car? It's not as bad as in the old car but it's not that clean. Then she asks where I want my bread. I don't even know how to answer because no matter how I answer I will say the wrong thing. So I just left. I came back when everything was properly in bags and in my cart.
This past weekend someone else who put my stuff in a plastic bag before I could say anything. Then a can of biscuits got put in a rgular bag. no, it has to be with refrigerated stuff or I'll forget to put it away. But this week I wanted to bypass paying for the biscuits because, while I didn't have the cans, I had two cans pop open in the refrigerator and they always replace those. She had to ask for help with that. Then there was a coupon for a toothbrush and she was telling me it wasn't for this kind. Well, if you're going to make it complicated, I don't want to use the coupon. And because I can't use the coupon I won't buy the product. It was only later that I realized that the toothbrush package hadn't been taken off my bill. I was able to get that done. But the worst thing was that my bags just sat there. Is no one going to put them in the cart? I take the groceries out of the cart. A lot of stores don't require you to do that. Finally, I came back and found my stuff in the cart. When I got home, the bag with my milk broke. I have to start telling them from now on don't put anything heavy in the bag with the milk.
