I understand.
What a stressful day... Ok, so i worked my usual 10-6:30 right? Well i come home and am on the comp per usual when at about 8:30 my mom wakes up and asks for help. She tripped over something yesterday and she's been having trouble w/her knee. She went up to the ER earlier in the week and they said that she had a torn ligament i think. Anyway, when she twisted last night, it put her back out of place. Needless to say the chiro isn't in on Tues.
Then, at around 10:30 my sis called from work (My sis that works at Sheetz. For those who don't know what that is, it's a convenience store) saying that she cut her finger and that she needed to go the ER. And well, since our ER sucks (literally) it took an hour for a cut. And she didn't need stitches. Since it's workman's comp my sis shouldn't have to pay it. So yeah, that's what i'm still doing up.

We're having such weird weather here. First it's freezing and cloudy, then it's hot and bright. We call that earthquake weather. Yeah, we had frost yet again this morning.  Now it's like 40 or 41 degrees. I sure hope you don't get an earthquake! I too ![]() your new avatar and sig. Although i'm surprised you don't have Prue, Piper, and Phoebe. Thanks. :heart: I couldn't find a pic where Prue looked awesom. So I went with Paige. Grrr. |

The DR also thought she had a brain bleed but she didn't and she was just severely Dehydrated. If she was severely dehydrated then why didn't they admit her? I don't know I asked them that too, They gave her meds for the pain and told her to see her doctor when she could. |

It's snowing here. Or well it was. Just a coating though so no biggie. Jeff, i agree w/G on this one. If Kimie was severely dehydrated they would have hooked up an iv to give her fluids and keep her there until she started to feel better. Possibly admitting her overnight. Even if she had no insurance, legally they'd still have to treat for dehydration. Believe me when i say hospitals are very stingy when it comes to pain pills.  |

Well, G and Kim, while yes, that would be the case usually, the same thing happened to me a little over a year ago. I went to the hospital once during the two weeks I was severely sick. They did not help, at all. So, Jeff may not be lying. This may be one of those rare cases where the hospital is being just plain stupid.
And actually, hospital food is really not all that bad. It's actually pretty good. Take it from someone that had to go to the hospital once a year.

I mean when i went to the ER a couple weeks ago, i told them that i was having a reaction to 2 diff migraine medicines and they still treated it as a migraine. The hospital food isn't bad in the D.C. area because at the Veterans Hospital where my dad was a patient until he died, I remember him sharing his breakfast with my mom and me because we had spent the night with him there, I didn't get much sleep but I know I always remember the memories of the beeping of machines and the nurses trying to adjust his IVs and what not, the food though was pretty good, he had french toast the next morning and it wasn't half bad, right now i can barely eat French Toast because it reminds of him, I am sorry i am getting teary eyed as i remember

Last time I was in the hospital, my stepdad brought me a quart of ice cream. :heart: And one of the nurses would sneak in and watch tv with me when she was on her lunch break. |
