I can't take nyquil because it has alcohol in it... I can't have alcohol whatsoever because of the meds I take... but I do take melatonin and it definately helps me sleep.

my meds say the same thing i cant drink alcohol but i never really did so thats ok lol but after the crazy dreams and dizziness i quit takin nyquil and will on here teased me and said that the indians used to use it for hypnosis or something lol idk will is silly

Yeah, NEVER take anything that makes you feel strange, like dizziness or something similar. It's always best to stop taking that medicine when that happens and if it's a prescription, talk to the doctor.

what i take now sometimes makes me dizzy and have chest pain but the dr says its cuz i dont sleep

Dizziness and chest pain is not good regardless. If the meds are making you feel dizzy and making you have chest pains, then you need to talk to your doctor to prescribe another medication. If he won't, get another doctor, get a second opinion.

i don't take nyquil too much, the last time i had a bad cough and cold i took some night time tablets to help with the cough and i also put vicks on my chest to help me breathe easier, yikes i am kinda sleepy now and that's unusual for me, i know i am NOT pregnant but i guess because of all my running around yesterday made me tired still

well i ate an orange and an apple for breakfast and i had a few sips of water because my stomach was acting a little funny, the thing is i am normally fully 100% awake at this time and i don't need coffee plus we have no coffee in the house i do have a packet of capuchino mix though that i use sometimes when i need a boost.

chloe i know those are not good signs, i did visit the dr but she says to continue with the meds bcuz i have high blood pressure and migrains so my meds help with both but the chest pains get bad sumtimes but she insists its just the sleep idk how that factors in but idk maybe im crazy last night they were the worst but tyhe meds i take if i stop taking them all at once i can have a heart attack so im lost as what to do

I've mentioned that when I see the name Timmy I think of the Indian flunky on 'Rules of Engagement". He really went through it last night. After getting a friend to make his boss a spoon that would keep him from burning his mouth when he ate hot soup, he was in a video when the boss decided to sell them online, and to use the camera that was for porn videos of his dates. The boss got his moron friend Adam to eat the soup with a regular spoon, after which it was so hot he would spit it out. Timmy got a large amount of soup dumped on him, even though it was obvious Adam wasn't spitting out that much. Each time various options were tried Timmy got soup dumped on him as Adam spit his soup out. This was, of course, what they used in the commercials.

Remember, when you can't get much sleep (and believe me when I say I know) the easiest and most natural cure is resting. To do this, lie down until you're comfortable, close your eyes, and relax as much as possible. Whether or not you sleep may depend but focus on the breathing aspect. Call your pharmacist and get advice on what you should do. Sometimes they can be of more help than your doctor. |
