I rarely get that flavor since it seems to get eaten the fastest. I think it's the big brownie chunks, there's not much to them. I have Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough in the freezer at the moment. Sadly none of the nearby stores stock Schweddy Balls.  |

Allow me to complain briefly and vehemently about people who get confused about a smallish thing and then proceed to make themselves look completely idiotic and/or obnoxious in an attempt to explain it away.
Kid: How do I find my PIN?
Me: Your PIN is something you would have set up with your account. Four digits, preferably something you would be able to remember.
Kid: Well yeah, but mine was this thing I did for school [groups of college students send in their filled-out forms and then come in later with their photo ID's to activate their accounts], so I didn't set one up.
Me: The PIN is a required field on the library sign-up form. If you didn't fill it out, we would have put a message on your account to that effect.
Kid: Oh, so maybe you did.
Me: Let's see. *pulls up account* It looks like you do have a PIN. Do you have a guess as to what it is?
Kid: Um ... *guesses wrong*
Me: No, that's not it. I can tell it to you if you show me your ID.
Kid: *shows ID*
Me: *writes down PIN for him*
Kid: I wouldn't have chosen that. Someone else must have filled it in.
Me: We do not fill in the PIN field for you. We would ask you to do that. Did you fill out the form yourself?
Kid: Yeah, nobody ever asked for my PIN though.
Me: It would have been four boxes you had to fill in on the original form.
Kid: Oh, well these must not have had that.
Me: All the forms used in those programs are printed here in the library. They're all the same, they would have had a PIN field.
Kid: Huh, weird, oh well.

Why the hell did I call him again!? Damn... I had a moment of weakness and called him... again. When I called him again, his ringback tone was our song... I asked him about it and he was all nonchalant about it. I cried as soon as I heard that song. Dammit! Why does moving on have to be so hard!? Now, my heart aches, the wounds have been re-opened... Since I don't have a 'message board speak' to English dictionary, I think I'm going to have to quit the message board scene. People always seem to get mad if they aren't understood, but it seems that very few people anymore make any real effort to communicate. I suffer from extreme fatigue these days and I don't like reading posts multiple times to play the guess where the sentence ends game and the what word do they really mean game. If this is overly critical and hurts anyone's feelings, I am sorry. But I really am looking for signs that people are making progress in the world -- towards being better communicators, more empathetic and more peace loving. All progress mankind ever made came from learning to communicate clearly so knowledge could be shared and passed down to the following generations. I hate to see that the time and money spent to educate people how to communicate was wasted. The only people I can understand anymore seem to be people from foreign countries that make an effort to use English properly ... or people who are using it as a weapon against people with differing opinions. This is not something I need to be exposed to at this point in my life. Thanks for the invite, but I don't think I belong here.
