These guys were just so frakkin' beautiful. As far as I'm concerned they invented 'cool', from their choreograpy to their harmonies.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Temptations.
Just look at the grace, beauty, and joy they move with. It doesn't get any better than this.
How are those people just sitting in their seats doing nothing while music like this is playing?

"Get Ready" was used for the debut of The CW.
I like "Just My Imagination" and "My Girl" is nice too.
It got on my nerves when my favorite radio station played "Can't Get Next to You". I suppose the station I listen to now has gone through enough of an evolution that it wouldn't sound so strange now.

Wait, it was "Ain't Too Proud to Beg". Which really isn't so strange.

I heard "Just My Imagination" on my radio station and "My Girl" both there and in the movie "The Game Plan" starring The Rock. Which was a very good movie.

I love The Temptations so much that my family has watched the movie about them multiple times. On a bus trip with a group of acquaintances, we played the movie and people were dancing in the aisle. It was so cute and nobody was drinking either.

Your post has led me on a journey, because I always thought that The Temptations and The Supremes had recorded the song "Someday We'll Be Together" with each other. I see now that that's not the truth. Johnny Bristol ("Hang On In There Baby) did the male vocals on the song.
However, it brought me to this wonderful moment when the Supremes reunited in 1983 and the Temptations, along with you're not gonna believe who-all joined them onstage for this magic moment. The "Someday We're Gonna Be Together" part starts about 3:58 in, but the whole thing is magical.
I've read a couple of books on the history of Motown records and it's some of the most fun I've ever had learning. I highly reccommend getting to know more about how it all happened in Detroit with Berry Gordy.
But even more importantly, to me, is the story of The Funk Brothers, a group of studio musicians who created almost every note of the hits that you heard on Motown records.
Like their compatriots out in Los Angeles, The Wrecking Crew, they are the unsung heroes of American music in the 60s and 70s, and I can't recommend their inspiring documentary, Standing In the Shadows of Motown enough. Their names should be known, because you've listened to hundreds, perhaps thousands of their songs and you don't even know it. They never got credit for them.
Anti, if you like the Temptations movie, you'll love this.
