What do you think it means?

It would be depressing if the Governor literally tries to poke someone's eye out, so I am leaning toward a dramatic attempt to kill our man-child Carl. Vengeance for the "loss" of his Penny.

Well, it sounds much more dramatic than "a tooth for a tooth." Now that poster would be hilarious.

I don't know why I can't stop laughing at that. It's just so silly.

I recall a tweet that was shown on The Talking Dead...
"If you combine Merle, The Governor and Hershel...you have a real life pirate"

According to my friend at work, Jason, who's up to #105 in the comics the phrase 'an eye for an eye' means something specific, and currently in the comics the storyline is all about Carl.

If it's all about Carl, I agree with Timmy that Woodbury will need a new Governor.

I have to admit, I hated that little dip Carl season before last, but it seems like he's grown a pair here lately. If Andrea continues on her current path of male love choices after the Governor is gone, it's gonna be lucky time for Carl.

I remember Carl irked you when he was throwing rocks at the walker instead of shooting it. Then the walker got free and hurt someone.
But Carl does not hesitate now. I never mentioned something that made me laugh during the current season. When Daryl said "Look at little Shane over there", I thought he was talking about Carl. Hershel let me know he was talking about Rick.

Will Michonne and Andrea be able to reconcile on The Walking Dead? — Jerry NATALIE: "Their relationship is definitely in a crisis," Danai Gurira says of the duo who, last we saw, went toe-to-toe after Michonne stabbed Andrea's bedfellow in the eye. "Michonne realizes that she's lost that person she had, really lost her this time." That's exactly why we'll find Michonne attempting to gain the trust of Rick & Co. "She sees that these are good people," Gurira adds. "Now the battle is against herself to get to a point where she can be vulnerable with them and be willing to be open."

I am wondering if Andrea will survive or if the Governor will try to kill her. They should have asked during the interview if both Daryl and his brother survive.

Agreed. I'd much rather know that Darryl comes out of his encounter with Merle alive than find out if Michonne and Andrea "make up."

This looks like a very exciting episode. I'm sure you noticed Andrea at 0.42, but did you notice the knife in her hand?

As far as zombie history goes...I like this show. I do not want it to become Zombies 90210. I want positive action. I am sick of the old Romero distrust/paranoia syndrome. I want a true safe haven...if only for a single night.

Did anyone see the 3 minute preview last night?
Along with the many snippets that they have been showing....it does not look good for Merle.
Although there has been no actual footage of a possible 'Merle demise'...it is clear that Darryl survives...and there is no mention of his brother's survival.
My guess is that Merle will sacrifice himself so that his brother can escape.

I want a true safe haven...if only for a single night. I have to admit, I love one thing about Romero's rules about zombie movies: things always get worse. But I can understand your wishing for a safe haven. I think Robert Kirkman is trying to subvert that in The Walking Dead by showing us that Woodbury is a cotton candy facade, and not a true shelter at all.
