The dead are back. And our intrepid group got bigger at the end of last season. How is all that working out? What happened to the "Govenor?" Will he be back? Has out group found a way to exist in the prison? It should be another exciting season!

SPOILERS AHEAD... DURHI gave it a 4. It was good but a little slow for a premiere imo. Sucked Kyle Gallner was killed off so soon. (the flash on smallville and he was on veronica mars) What is it with Rick not using guns anymore? Is it because he's trying to stay away from them to set a better example for Carl, after Carl shot that kid? Maggie and Glenn are still boring as ever!! Playful Carol and Daryl YAY Michonne still as badass as ever. And I really like how she and carl are getting along! And the end wasn't very suspenseful. I mean we know what will happen.. Someone will get him quick. I was hoping he was somehow a spy for the governor or like hiding a few walkers inside the prison.. idkk

Good question about the guns, Fitz.
After the first 15 minutes I wanted to stop watching. I did not want to be bummed out. It was perfect. ..serene and productive. Everyone was at peace. We know that it will not last for long.
There was a lot that I wanted to point out, but they pretty much covered everything on The Talking Dead.
I think that the little girl who was naming the zombies is the person who is feeding the rats to them...and that is why there are more of them than usual.
Nathan Fillion asked a good question. Of all the new characters...which ones should we 'invest' in?

Just what did Daryl do before the turn? Who will be the next to die? The undead are called Walkers. What do we call the living?...Breathers? ( via Maggie's comment ) Sounds like a fair opportunity for some polls. SoCal?

The first little piggy went to market. The second little piggy stayed home. The third little piggy had Lobster Thermidor aux crevettes with a Mornay sauce, garnished with truffle pâté, brandy and a fried egg on top and Spam. The fourth little piggy got infected with the walker virus and died in the pen. The fifth little piggy spent most of his time playing Grand Theft Auto 5.

So it looks like Michonne is out hunting the Govenor. He won't last long if she finds him. Rick doesn't want to carry a gun. Herschel (!) has to talk him into it! I agree....Glen and Maggie have become boring. Beth doesn't cry anymore Some of the Woodbury kids have been brainwashed by the Governor and are calling the walkers "different." Good for Carl for setting them straight. Even if he is naming his pick. Poor porky died. I wonder what the geek kid died from. Did his eyes look slightly different from others who have turned? Did the little piggy die from the same thing? Piggy walkers? It looks like the slaughter in the prison is going to go big time next week. Still don't understand why the walkers are increasing at the prison. I thought that woman Rick found was a walker when they met. She looked green. And I had a hard time understanding her. She was feeding a walker who had saved her before he died and became a zombie? Yuck.

Someone is feeding rats to the walkers...that is why their numbers are increasing.
The dead pig and Patrick must have something in common.
The spoiler clips state that "We just lost 12 of our own"...I am guessing that Patrick is responsible.

Hershel was walking very well without any assistance at all. Good for him and he is still the voice of reason. At the beginning, the walkers sounded much more vocal and noisier; perhaps that was because Rick’s proximity was keeping them riled up. Love is in the air. The fans’ love for Darryl was mirrored by the people in the episode. I liked the way Carol reminded him that she liked him first. Carol’s flirtation with Darryl was lighthearted and fun to watch. So many blooming romances…so many heartbreaks to come. Michonne is still as tough as ever. She might be hunting the Governor for revenge or she might not be able to relax knowing he is out there and probably bent on getting his own brand of revenge. She and Darryl are the only members of the camp I have faith will survive when they go out alone. The dude who was agonizing over the bottle of liquor caused them to have to fight the walkers in the store. I was positive he was going to die. He seemed very practiced at lying. I think Rick should have required a strip search of the woman in the forest because she looked so strange. Later, she said something that I found absolutely chilling. After she tried to cut Rick, she said her husband needed something live to eat. Since she could not carry the boar, was Rick her second choice? I agree Patrick’s eyes were very strange after he died. How long does it take for the dead to become mobile walkers? I think the 3 questions were not as dramatic as I anticipated: 1. How many walkers have you killed? 2. How many people have you killed? 3. Why? Question: When Carol told Carl to not tell Rick, was she referring to her teaching the kids how to fight? If she was, then Rick must now be against the children fighting because of the way Carl turned out. O/T The commercial where the man fell down the step and the zombie placard made him scream was good comic relief.

As for the walker noise...i think it was the earpods that Rick was wearing. It lulled us into a different vocal world. When he removed the one...the walkers were louder than usual. It was a statement that the breathers might be getting too complacent with their newfound paradise. The fact that he replaced the earpod and returned to his morning chores...without a thought...says volumes about the current mindset at the prison.
The 'forest woman' did indeed appear as if she were a walker. Although it has not been scientifically postured...i truly beleive that there will be sentient walkers...one day.
The 3 questions are spot on. They are reminiscent of the conversation that Michonne and Merle had...just before he let her go. They are exactly what I would ask of any newcomer.
What are your '3 questions'?
I am guessing that there will be a flashback scene that will explain the whole Rick/Gun thing...and why Carol is doubtful about his appraisal of her teaching procedures.

Timmy, well said.
A person's reaction to the 3 questions would say a lot about them, but I want another question that reveals...
4. Are you a team player?
The scientists, Governor, the children in this episode, and others agree with you that the walkers may be sentient beings.
I did like the scene when Carl and Rick were standing next to the horse and Carl was showing respect for his father. Their relationship has improved over the months.

Did they get rid of the poor elders? I remember quite a lot of them coming off the bus in the finale.

Your question 4 is very well placed.
