One of my heroes, Peter Bergman of Firesign Theater has passed away. A member of one of the most amazing comedy troupes of all times, Firesign Theater, his group greatly affected my comedy writing. They showed me what absurdist writing was all about, and what an education that was! I'm forever indebted to them.
From a purely personal point of view, the fact that they started in radio means even more.
