Yeah Nikki Heat is the book character he is basing on Beckett. Season 1 is all about that, and she is not really happy with some of the things Nikki and the oddly Castle-like male character in the book does.

- Did you know those books he's writing has been written out here in the real world too? The first 2 novels of Nikki Heat has anyway, both made the New York Times bestseller list too.

They make some references to some scenes in the books (including a love scene hehe) and I bet you'd enjoy the book more if you'd gotten some teasers first, and can see the link between what the book characters do, and the show characters. If that makes sense?

Girlfriend is though! She's made a few published things, mostly non fiction though, from her medical studies.
