Something is killing people in Philadelphia. Even Dr. Megan Hunt can't figure out what it is, so the Centers for Disease Control has brought in a team let by an arrogant jerk played by ... you guessed it. And he's always right and isn't afraid to let people know it. Only this time even he is stumped.
If you missed the first part it should be online. It appears he will be back for part two next week, Tuesday at 10. 9 Central.

There's one more episode, and he could be on it. The show's hopes of a third season are dismal. Nevertheless, Luke got himself fired for stealing a vaccine, though it saved the life of the gorgeous Jeri Ryan. Being the head of the Medical Examiner's office (I think she was reinstated), she gave him permission to continue his research at their hospital.

He was back.
Somehow people were getting rabies without being bitten. After he messed up in his previous appearance he was banished to a desk job in Philly, so he welcomed the opportunity to get out and investigate again.
Turns out a psycho was killing people and harvesting their organs for the money. Two recipients were unlucky enough to get rabies from their donor.

He was back again, but I don't recall that he actually did anything.
A mentally ill girl was the key to a murder in the institution where she was being kept. According to her, her mother killed her beauty queen younger sister and put her in the nut house to keep her quiet.

And he was back again. Now he's dating Megan.
He and Megan investigated a plane crash. Luke was in charge of making sure everyone at the site did what they were supposed to do.
Actually, one of the sites. The rest of the plane was out in the country.
