Looks like Vampire Diaries is beginning to rebound a little.

And thank goodness Fringe, is too.

How can the Tuesday shows be doing so poorly? "Ringer" is so good.

There are cable channels I never heard of getting better numbers for their most popular shows than some of the CW shows.

I'm happy and mad about "The Firm" at the same time. I didn't see it listed on my TiVo after the affiliate had the nerve to pre-empt it for a RERUN of the Vietnam Veterans' event coverage. (And yet they somehow showed "Escape Routes", which did really poorly.)

At the same time, "The Firm" did reasonably well under the circumstances. But the fact that it was on and I never figured out how to see it (I suppose calling the station would have gotten me results if they had planned to show it) means next time I go to a library with sound, I have to watch there. I hate doing that.

I don't have sound at home; that would have just complicated things. And when I had to replace my monitor, they went ahead and sent me one without speakers. At most libraries you have to bring or buy earphones and I intend to do neither. The county library in my county provides them.
