I like disco. Some of it.
More and more of it keeps showing up on my favorite pop radio station.
They play Sinatra and Nat King Cole and The Lettermen, but a lot of the music is softer pop from the 60s and 70s which doesn't sound like any of them.

Boy, does this bring back memories. In the late 70s, back when I was just starting out in radio, there was this bar in Hattiesburg, MS called the Stone Toad, and they had paid the mega-bucks to have the same dance floor and lights you saw in the movie Saturday Night Fever installed.
I got a gig there in addition to my radio show, and had more fun than any guy is probably allowed to have in one lifetime. I had one standard for my shows that never changed. I always started with a completely dark room, then put on this song, and slowly would begin some of the colored lights swirling across the as-yet unlit dance floor.
Likewise, I would end the night in a similar fashion with this one.
I remember that we had a switch up in the DJ booth that would send the sound completely around the room in a circle in a phased-kinda sounding thing, and I'd always switch it on for the 'lightning' efx and the drum parts in this song, so that it emcompassed the entire room. I'd switch on the strobe lights during those parts, too. It sounded awesome.

My station played "Never Can Say Goodbye" yesterday and "I Will Survive" today. In both cases the singer was Gloria Gaynor.

Yes disco music, I love the disco music , 70s pop music and the hustle is one of my favorite dances to do, Donna summer is one of my favorite singers as well as Olivia newton john , and yes I knowv Olivia isn't disco . Im a big bee gees and abba fan too.
Grease is one of my favorite movies as well as Saturday night fever and the original Charlie's angels show I love it..And I love that Stephanie mills song posted on here.
boogie wonderland,knock on wood and disco inferno love those songs too, And much much more.
I have an abba singing and dancing game for Nintendo Wii that I love playing I got it for Christmas.
