I found a user on Youtube that has all the episodes with captions. That's a rare find!
I figured since you two (Tink & LC) did try to do all that for me and to show my appreciation, I just wanted to let you know my thoughts on the episodes if I have any. I may not have any for every episode, but for the pilot, I did.

Anyways, that being said. I watched the pilot episode. I honestly don't know what to think. There were parts of it that I absolutely loved! And there were parts that I hated... so much so that if this was the very first episode I saw of Castle, I would be turned off so fast... I hate that the first episode right off the bat mentioned a controversial subject like PDD. And the way they had Castle and Beckett handle the kid. The only thing that kept me watching was Castle noticing something that I had also noticed as soon as Castle said, the dress was yellow instead of blue. Because he is right, I happen to have a few friends who have PDD (as Autism is included in PDD) with obsessions (and it's never that drastic which is why it originally would have had me turned off from the show) they have to get every single detail right.
I loved the reactions and everything between the two. The chemistry is great from the beginning. And of course there's the boss wanting the two to be partners and Beckett not wanting that...
Now where have I seen something like that before...
Edit: I'd also like to add that now I understand what Castle did in order to write his novels, I started searching my own past with tidbits I remember and let's ust say I got a couple new ideas rolling around my head for a couple of novels.
