You're so vain by Carly Simon I heard "I had some dreams I had some clowns in my coffee, clowns in my coffee" what she is really saying is..."I had some some dreams, I had some clouds in my coffee, clouds in my coffee" Whoops! Clowns in my coffee!!!!  I LOL'd so much over this one!! I don't know why, but it whacks me square on the funny bone and every time I thought of it this evening I laughed again.  I was around 3 1/2 years old and I remember driving my parents crazy, because I wanted them to sing me the "Feemayder" song. "You know! The FEEMAYDER song!" and I was getting so frustrated because I knew they knew the song and how could they possibly not know what I was talking about. Then one day we were driving home and my folks were singing little songs to help keep me entertained and my mom starts with "Do a deer, a female deer" (from the Sound of Music) and I was so excited I was jumping around in the back seat (those were the days before seatbelts and car seats, LOL) and yelling "THAT'S IT!!! THE FEEMAYDER SONG!!!" Do, a deer...a FE-MAY-DER.   |
