My pop radio station keeps adding new songs.
"And he shouted Levon, and he shouted at another man."
No, turns out it's "And he shall be Levon ..."
Oops. Forgot the rest. I am NOT going to a lyrics site at home.

In this song I thought he was saying :
"Wake up in the morning drinking cerveza "
When he is singing :
"Wake up in the morning slaving for bread, sir "

In the 70s I thought James Taylor was singing "How would we be for your love inside." It's actually "Just shower the people you love with love."

"Someone Shaved My Wife Tonight" - Elton John I never understood why Elton was so opposed to what he sung about happening in "Don't let your son go down on me."

When I first heard the song Henry the 8th, I thought it was about Henry VIII the King of England who was desperate for a son but no, it's about a man whose name is Henry and he is married to a woman who has been married to 7 other Henrys!

You're so vain by Carly Simon
I heard "I had some dreams I had some clowns in my coffee, clowns in my coffee"
what she is really saying is... "I had some some dreams, I had some clouds in my coffee, clouds in my coffee"
Whoops!
Another one I mixed up for ages this one:
I heard "Secret Asian Man" by Johnny Rivers but it's actually "Secret Agent Man" Whoops!

You're so vain by Carly Simon I heard "I had some dreams I had some clowns in my coffee, clowns in my coffee" what she is really saying is... "I had some some dreams, I had some clouds in my coffee, clouds in my coffee" Unfortunately, I heard this one this morning. Steely Dan had a hit song called "Are you really in the East?' Actually, "Reeling in the Years".

^^^ I needed someone to call my own, suddenly how I feel, suddenly how I feel, suddenly how I feel, love came along. I needed someone to call my own, out of left field, out of left field, out of left field, love came along.
