I think Brick on "The Middle" is becoming a young Sheldon.
He's in the sixth grade and his brother Axl is failing everything in college and Brick is helping him. He asked Axl for a syllabus and Axl didn't know what that was.

One of the best episodes they ever did!
I can't believe Sheldon knows and likes football.

Sheldon can't be funny, at least intentionally.

Sit! Stay! Good boy. I was surprised Raj got picked to speak for the group at the People's Choice Awards, and pleased Kaley got one. I was mad that she mentioned her new husband because The Charlotte Observer couldn't be bothered to give James Avery of "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" a decent obituary. Instead, it was one of the brief items that also included Kaley getting married.

I was surprised too and I wonder who gets to keep the award - the producers maybe?

I read a joke this show should use. And the man has been on. He's hosting an update of Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" series.
A Higgs Boson walks into a church. The priest says, "We don't allow your kind here." The response was, "But without me you can't have mass."

Is there any way to watch this show from the first episode? I would love to marathon it. Netflix does not have it.

You can't escape it. The CW affiliate where I live has two episodes a day. Surely you have a station airing it too. And it's on cable too but I'm not sure where. It seems like every time I turn on the other TV after "Jeopardy", there it is.

James Earl Jones seemed to be having a good time.

James Earl Jones was great!
He really seemed to be enjoying himself. I would not have expected him to react that way to Sheldon.

I have not seen the episode with James Earl Jones yet and I am looking forward to seeing it. This show is so funny that I do not even mind the laugh track. That's because I am laughing right along with it.
So far, I have seen:
Pilot The Bad Fish Paradigm (Leonard’s first date with Penny) The Codpiece Topology The Barbarian Sublimation The Griffin Equivalency The Gothowitz Deviation The Spoiler Alert Segment The Pirate Solution The Tangible Affection Proof The Creepy Candy Coating (Sheldon v Will Wheaton )

The Lizard-Spock Expansion 2008– Leonard steals Wolowitz’ new girl
The Panty Pinata Polarization 2008 – Sheldon bans Penny from the apartment
The Cooper-Nowitzki Theory 2008 – A grad student is attracted to Sheldon

The Cornhusker Vortex 2009 – Understanding football
The Monster Isolation 2013 – Penny’s acting skills impress Sheldon

The Table Polarization was very funny. I thought it was clever the way the girlfriends handled the manipulation.
I have enjoyed every episode. Adding to the list:
The Jiminy Conjective 2009 - Sheldon made a bet about a cricket
The Electric Can Opener Fluctuation 2009- Friendships and romance are in jeopardy
The Bon Voyage Reaction 2013 - When Leonard receives an exciting opportunity to work overseas. Penny and Sheldon are upset
The Maternal Congruence 2009 - Leonard is horrified when his mother visits

The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis (2008) Although this episode is about Sheldon insisting Penny's gift to him requires that he give her a "gift of commensurate value", I am laughing more at the guys wearing matching bowling shirts while they bowl on the Wii game system.

Did you know the actress who plays Amy really has the degree Amy has? I had heard she was giving up acting but she's such an important part of the show. She can help them get the science right.
Jim Parsons (Sheldon) was host of "SNL" this week. He mostly played characters that seemed gay and he did a musical number about how he wasn't like Sheldon. He also was somewhat like Sheldon as an uptight husband participating in a murder mystery event.
I saw "The Social Network". Mark Zuckerberg was portrayed as a less likeable Sheldon type. I mean the man had no redeeming qualities and you couldn't possibly like him. He was very confident, unlike Sheldon.

It probably makes it easy for her to learn her lines for the show. Very nteresting.

This is the 6th post that was lost because the board "was not responding". Here is an abbreviated version.
I laughed my way through some more episodes.
The Einstein Approximation 2010 – Sheldon works with Penny – Very funny one when Sheldon looks for a menial job and starts working at the Cheesecake Factory even though he was not really an employee.
The Big Bran Hypothesis 2007 – Leonard hopes to impress Penny by agreeing to sign for a package. It was funny when the delivery guy dumped the package in the hall and Leonard and Sheldon had to drag it to the 4th floor.
The Bozeman Reaction 2010 – A state of the art security system
The Killer Robot Instability 2009 – Fighting robot competition
The Psychic Vortex 2010 = Sheldon and Koothrappali attend a mixer
The Vartabedian Conundrum 2008 – Leonard asks Penny for advice when his new relationship starts moving too fast

Last night's episode was really good. Now we know why Sheldon insults Howard. But after all this time you'd think he'd get over it.
I figured Leonard would just help Penny repair her car, but he really came through.
Target has swimsuits half off. It looked like they weren't referring to the price.
There was also a commercial for a women's razor.

The Friendship Turbulence Mar 6, 2014 – Bernadette tries to negotiate peace between Sheldon and Wolowitz; Penny receives an embarrassing offer; Raj wants Amy to write to a woman on his behalf. Yes, it was a really good episode. Sheldon has gotten very good at making sarcastic remarks; I did not notice him doing that during the first season. The scenes on the airplane were funny, especially the way Howard and Sheldon were holding hands. Sheldon had been mentioning Penny's check engine light since 2007 so she was lucky the car lasted that long. Leonard was so sweet to her.

I bet you are talking about The Mommy Observation when Sheldon peeked in the house and saw his mother with a man. I cannot imagine having that conversation with a parent.
My favorite lines:
Sheldon: I will condemn you internally while maintaining an outward appearance of acceptance.
Mommy: That is very Christian of you.

People missing this show had a real opportunity Thursday night. The cast of "Community" (in the same time slot) played "Dungeons and Dragons".
Which was boring to me. The show makes no sense. But those who are actually as nerdy as Sheldon and Leonard might have gotten something out of the experience.

Last night's was pretty good. Amy didn't want Sheldon to change his look and I don't blame her.
But how could Sheldon say geology isn't science? That sounds like something his mother might say. But then she would say astronomy isn't science to.
I don't think Penny ahd anything on under that robe, but then I had to see she was wearing some kind of shoes. That's kind of a letdown.
I felt so sorry for Howard when Emily told him who she was.

I missed one.
I didn't pay close enough attention to what shows were getting deleted.
The same thing happened with "Community" several weeks ago so I had to watch online.
But this is a series where I know it'll be around for reruns.
