And I lost it again. "Whose Line" already had an exclamation point, so I started watching as soon as I turned on the TV, but then I didn't go back to make sure all my other shows were safe. I taped The Kentucky Derby on the other TiVo and was able to start watching an hour late and eliminate all commercials and red carpet/celebrity fluff and still get through in time to watch "Jeopardy" almost live. But I don't know whether I was in time to save this show.
No problem, because it gives me something to look forward to in the summer. Still, I desperately need the time to read newspapers.

Kripke is on "Riot". I didn't recognizer him at first but I was looking at him one night and realized who it was.
No, he doesn't talk like Elmer Fudd.
"Riot", for those who don't know, is an improv comedy show but not quite as good as "Whose Line".

Amy is a future guest on "Riot", but Kripke wasn't on last night. I can't recall whether they've ever had a scene together but it would be only logical for both of them to be on the same episode.

Jim was on an awards show on The CW to give a special award.
And he won one himself, for Sheldon.

Leonard's old girlfriend, both here and on "Roseanne", is on "Bad Teacher". I don't like her there.
Though she did look good when Meredith fixed her up. and traded clothes. Meredith looks good in anything. But why do her workout clothes cover so much?

I agree with Sheldon. I don't like Penny's new hair.
I hope she does well in her new career.
Sheldon will never make it as a professor. I am curious why he feels the need to dress up, as most professors don't any more.

Pairing "Scorpion" with this show was a good idea. Too bad it couldn't have continued after the pilot.
We have four nerds and a waitress on that show, and the waitress helps the nerds understand regular people.

Howard threw out the first pitch for the Angels. I should have put that on the sports thread.

Oops. "Scorpion" IS on Monday night. But eventully the pairing of two "Big Bang" episodes will have to stop.
Monday's episode was good. I can't remember what happened but it was good.

Weird. It must have been a rerun since Penny still had her beautiful long hair, but I thought there was only one rerun I hadn't seen. Professor Proton died. I guess they were concerned Bob Newhart might die before they could do that kind of episode and they wanted him to appear as a ghost.

I don't think Bernadette is all that pretty. I liked the way they said Amy couldn't be in a magazine featuring the hottest female scientists.
That nerdy doctor was really good. I didn't recognize him but he was Billy Bob Thornton, who is always getting nominated for something. I see an Emmy nomination for this performance in his future.

Almost forgot. I almost missed it. Only because I knew the Panthers were playing did I get to see the episode. Had I waited for the show to air on Charlotte's CBS affiliate, it wouldn't have been recorded. There is an advantage to having two CBS affiliates on your cable system, but that also means the two stations airing the show at different times means the second airing is treated as an encore. Fortunately, I set the TiVo to record all three shows I wanted to see that aired during the game.

Howard's mom died.
No word yet on whether she will die on the show too.

I lost the last episode because it didn't tape. Must have been something about Obama's speech, which would have made it start late. Everything else is 20 minutes late.

Jim Parsons looks just like a scientist on the Manhattan project whose photo was shown on "Jeopardy". He obviously couldn't have played the man in "Manhattan", if that man was in that, but another version might be a possibility.
I have now missed two episodes. One must have gotten deleted when I didn't do enough to save it. Reruns will be there, though.

Great episode! I don't remember how many I missed but I chose to watch last night's.
Sheldon wants to make Amy miserable and ends up doing something really sweet at Christmas. And then she returns the favor.
Poor Penny had to spend time with Raj's father.
I guess the clean room isn't so clean any more. But how do they get it clean again?

Jim played the Will Ferrell role in an animated musical version of the movie "Elf". He was brilliant! Such a playful and silly character. Ed Asner was Santa (how many times has he played Santa?)
Buddy's father (who had abandoned him at an orphanage years earlier; he crawled into Santa's bag one Christmas) wasn't the boss but he had high expectations of employees he supervised, because the head of the company had expectations for him. He didn't even celebrate the frivolous holiday but his family wished he would. The employees kept coming up with terrible ideas for Christmas books. They had all already been done, sort of.
Anyone want to guess what book they ended up publishing?

That was a good one!
Sheldon manages to get on everyone's nerves when he's making himself uncomfortable in order to be productive.
You have to wonder what he actually does. He can't always be searching for the next big development in science.

I lost last week's episode. I just wasn't paying close enough attention to what was getting deleted. Had I gone in that room soon enough, I would have seen that I needed to extend its life.
But we know it'll be around for reruns. And something else could have gotten deleted instead.

I haven't finished watching last night's episode, but last week when i missed it, that must be when Howard's mother died. They referred to her funeral and her ashes last night.
Leonard Nimoy died so you know that will come up later, if they haven't finished filming this season's episodes.

A tribute to him was at the end of the last episode.
And more about Howard's mother next week, although we laready knew she had died.

Not yet, but hopefully tonight. The end got cut off, as I already know from seeing the beginning of "The Odd Couple". I haven't had time for more of that show.
I lost the movie "Kalamity". With that title, maybe I didn't lose much. I could have sacrificed "Mad Max" and recorded it when it came on again, but that didn't seem at the time like it would help. If I had done that, though, I might have lost something else.

I just watched Jim Parsons on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". He was fun to watch and he played a game of Catchphrase but he and Jimmy lost to Wiz Kalifa and handsome Miles Teller from Divergent. He will be starring in a stage production of "God" in which God wants to communicate some messages to us but he needs a human body to get the word out. He uses the body of Jim Parsons who has no idea that this is happening to him.

Some people have said Bernadette could be the voice of Howard's mom and she really did sound like her last week. Howard even commented that's how she sounded. The others didn't agree.

"The Odd Couple" was the best yet this week. And yet I can't help wondering what if, when it was decided the series should be redone, Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki were available.
