I haven't seen this week's episode yet. At long last we had all new episodes on ABC.

I saw two episodes over the weekend. I'm enjoying the show more now. Derek can be so nice.

Karen in just a t-shirt! And we very nearly found out whether she really was wearing just a t-shirt. I was watching carefully.

And just when I was enjoying it.

Derek reminds me of Simon on "American Idol" and "The X Factor". I don't watch either show but I've seen lots of clips of Simon and I've been tempted to just watch him.

Saturday night's episode was really good. It's a good thing I have TiVo, although I happened to have the other TV on that channel and realized "Smash" was on at 8. I just figured they were doubling the number of episodes but when I checked the TiVo there was just one and "The Voice" was in the other slot.

This is not good.

But it was such a worthwhile episode. Tom was naked and I found myself wishing it was Ivy. Surprise! She too was naked, three times. In bed she was shown from the waist up, then there was the rehearsal (how DID she forget to put on underwear?) and then there was the performance before an audience where she surprised everyone after not being naked when expected.

I also found myself wishing it was Karen. But Ivy is such a perfect Marilyn I don't wish for Karen to play the role.

And it was neat watching Tom solve all his problems.

What happened Saturday night?

The listings said 9:00, and yet "The Voice" was on. It should have been on at 8. I have no way of knowing what actually was on until 3Sheets does her job.

If they did what I'm afraid they did I have to watch at the library.

As a precaution, I'm recording everything on NBC this Saturday.

That's just great. I did see it online. I don't enjoy doing that. But it was a great episode.

Karen doesn't look as good with too much makeup (Edit: in a later episode with a flashback, I actually liked her look, but it was the lipstick that still bothered me) . I thought it was her role, but she was at the "Bombshell" premiere.

And Ivy was so good I have to ask Karen who? Even Karen admits it.

I don't believe it. After a promise to move it back, I had the TV on the channel after "Jeopardy" so the tape wouldn't run. I could hear it from the other room. That was "Smash" at 8. But TiVo was aware of the change this time. I had "The Voice" set to tape anyway.

It wasn't as good as the last several, but it was still entertaining. I just don't enjoy all this drama.

I have to watch the beginning online. Where I live, "Jeopardy" was shown in its entirety after Kentucky Derby coverage ran over.

Which meant "Wheel of Fortune" ran into the beginning of this, and then there were all those commercials.

It was a good episode. I wonder who filled in for Ivy since Karen was otherwise occupied. I'm so glad "Hit List" is going to Broadway.

As you can imagine, I'm not too happy Kyle died since that's the name I decided to use on the CW boards.

No, and on a related topic Kyle Bornheimer, whose show "Worst Week" I liked mainly because it had Red from 'That 70s Show", is the star of "Family Tools", which looks terrible.

When we had to choose a name for the new CW site, "Kyle XY" was my favorite show and Clark Kent, whose birth name was Kal-El, was the main character of the show whose board I most enjoyed posting on when we still had The WB.

I missed the beginning because of stupid golf. Tiger was playing. He wasn't in the lead. And so I add to what I have to see online.

I am not happy to see this end but next week's will be the finale. At least it won't be on Saturday where sports can cause us to lose the start.

I saw the rest at the library.

What I missed was good.

I was worried about taping this Sunday because I'm taping the Billboard Music Awards and a VCR I can use to tape ABC has gone bad. Though I could also use another VCR if I just get a new tape to put in it. TiVo can do two shows at once.

But it's not this Sunday but next Sunday.

Yes, it was. But they went out with a bang. Karen and Ivy performed at The Tonys, with the word "Smash" in the background, and it was obvious they were celebrating the show. And the end of their act made it clear it was the end of the show.

It was an entertaining finale. I wish Frank hadn't made trouble for Julia. Poor Ivy thought she wasn't nominated but that's impossible. She was too good. But there were only four names and there were supposed to be five.

I hated seeing Derek hide out from the world but he did the right thing. Wow, people hated him. But Tom was so gracious when he won. And Derek did the right thing getting rid of his diva.

I saw Anjelica Huston in "Gardens of Stone". She sure was pretty back then.

She was a reporter for the paper I read who got a job at the Washington Post.

Megan Hilty was part of a musical number on the real Tonys where Neil Patrick Haris made fun of people whose shows were cancelled while his was a success.

Honestly, they could have done without that and given people more time to accept their awards instead of showing brief clips of earlier ceremonies.

Bernadette Peters was a nominee in the fake Tonys and a presenter in the real Tonys.

Some of the awards given out at the fake Tonys were given during what was apparently the televised ceremony. Which is how it should be, but they should have done a better job of going for realism.

I can't even remember who won the fake Tonys now! I know Derek got one because they didn't thin he was there.

Edit: If you can trust Wikipedia (and what I saw was such a mess I'm not so sure) Derek won for choreography.
