I'm cheating: I like a lot of the (70's)/80/90's sitcoms; The Crosby Show, Who's the Boss, Charles in Charge, A Different World, Designing Women, Empty Nest, Golden Girls, Family Ties, Family Matters, Full House, Gimme A Break, The Facts of Life, Kate & Allie, Brady Bunch, Just the Ten of Us, Growing Pains, Diff'rent Strokes, Nurses, Major Dad, My Two Dads, Night Court, Mr. Belvidere, Roseanne, Saved by the Bell, Perfect Strangers, Doogie Howser MD, Punky Brewster, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, What's Happening (Now), WKRP in Cincinnatti, E/R (not the show with Noah Wyle), Double Trouble, One Day at a Time, 227 I watched all of those except "Designing Women" and "Punky Brewster", though the actress who played Punky was on "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" as a college student, and good looking too. I'm not sure I remember a show called "Nurses". There were some episodes of "One Day at A Time", "Charles in Charge" and "Roseanne" that I missed. Yes, I remember "E/R". And those "Double Trouble" girls were so cute. Nurses was a spin off from Empty Nest.

One of the shows on this list could be cancelled, and since "A Gifted Man" likely has been, here's a list of my favorite shows which are not known to have aired their final episodes.
Blame Sophie for "2 Broke Girls" falling from its previous status.
1. Big Bang Theory 2. America's Funniest Home Videos 3. The Middle 4. Last Man Standing 5. Desperate Housewives 6. 2 Broke Girls 7. Body of Proof 8. Ringer 9. Two and a Half Men 10. Are You There Chelsea

I should put "Rules of Engagement" in there somewhere. If I could rank the reruns I've watched lately, rather than new episodes that will air later in the season, it would probably be #6. I now don't understand why I disliked Jeff and Audrey at first. As I see parts of those same episodes again the humor is just brilliant.

I should have added Stargate Sg-1 somewhere in my list but the thing is that when it aired on T.V. I only saw season 1-5 then 7-8 and i never knew what happened next until I got the DVDs

Here's how things stand now. "Guys with Kids" gets the boot. I don't really remember why I liked it so much. And "Two and a Half Men" falls to no. 12. "2 Broke Girls" would be higher but Sophie and Oleg are in it. "Last Man" would have dropped due to Boyd and his father but I decided to rank "Rules" based on the reruns I've seen lately, not new episodes. Sara Rue is much better there than on Reba's show.
1. Big Bang Theory 2. America's Funniest Home Videos 3. The Middle 4. Last Man Standing 5. Rules of Engagement 6. Elementary 7. 2 Broke Girls 8. The Carrie Diaries 9. Body of Proof 10. The Neighbors

The Neighbors Let's fix this. "The Carrie Diaries" isn't that good. 1. Big Bang Theory 2. America's Funniest Home Videos 3. The Middle 4. Last Man Standing 5. Rules of Engagement 6. Elementary 7. 2 Broke Girls 8. Body of Proof 9. Two and a Half Men 10. The Neighbors

Two of the shows are cancelled, so here's how it stands now. Unfortunately, no new shows were good enough to make the top 10.
1. Big Bang Theory 2. America's Funniest Home Videos 3. The Middle 4. Last Man Standing 5. 2 Broke Girls 6. Elementary 7. Unforgettable 8. The Neighbors 9. Two and a Half Men 10. Undercover Boss
I don't include reruns but "Are We There Yet" would be in at least tenth place if I did. But I think I've seen all of those.
"Elementary" shouldn't still be quite so high.

I was thinking about what shows I would choose if I could watch only 10. What order would they be in if the ones on the bottom of the list were in danger of being eliminated. I had to think real hard because I probably like 30 TV series. But, my gut-wrenching decision follows:
Supernatural The Blacklist Sleepy Hollow Arrow Revolution Grimm Justified Hell on Wheels Person of Interest The Following
I noticed no comedies made the list; no family drama; no vampires; no traditional cop shows; no medical shows; and no love stories.

Updated list:
1. Big Bang Theory 2. America's Funniest Home Videos 3. The Middle 4. Last Man Standing 5. 2 Broke Girls 6. Elementary 7. Unforgettable 8. The Neighbors 9. Two and a Half Men 10. Growing Up Fisher (which could rank higher if future episodes are as good as the pilot)

I moved my list from "What do you watch" to this thread.
I want to give an honorable mention to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon because it has become one of my "must watch" shows.
I am assuming this thread is for prime time fiction shows?

I am assuming this thread is for prime time fiction shows? Well, I don't have time for late night. But I did start taping "Saturday Night Live" a year ago. It's not one of my top 10 but it is on my list of shows to watch. I didn't want to include "Jeopardy" and I don't really know where it would rank.

Okay, what will the new list look like? I don't see any new Fall shows that will introduce any new ones ...
I've never listed "Whose Line" but it's not quite as good now as it used to be. I don't think it would rank in my top 10. Assuming "Undercover Boss" is coming back:
1. Big Bang Theory 2. America's Funniest Home Videos 3. The Middle 4. Last Man Standing 5. 2 Broke Girls 6. Elementary 7. Unforgettable 8. Two and a Half Men 9. Undercover Boss 10. Brooklyn Nine-Nine

If "Undercover Boss" is not coming back, "The Goldbergs" would actually replace it. I couldn't admit I like it that much because I can't stand the mother. But I like so many of the other characters, that makes up for it.
Wednesday night's "Modern Family" was so funny I was tempted to promote that show, but I just can't stand Mitchell. And no, the other characters on that show do not make up for him. There ae lots of individual episodes that I just don't enjoy.
But "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" isn't THAT good.
"Scorpion" has a chance.
If "Saving Hope" episodes keep showing up online, that's the clear favorite for that tenth slot.

Okay, it's "Scorpion", not "Scorpions". I fixed that.
And it has a good chance at my Top 10. "Saving Hope" cannot be as long as Youtube keeps taking down all the episodes.

With the announcement that "Unforgettable" was cancelled (How could they? The ratings were so good!) and AVP making it possible for us to watch "Saving Hope", assuming "Undercover Boss" is not returning:
1. Big Bang Theory 2. America's Funniest Home Videos 3. The Middle 4. Last Man Standing 5. 2 Broke Girls 6. Elementary 7. Two and a Half Men 8. Scorpion 9. Saving Hope 10. The Goldbergs

If Holmes and Watson do not resume their previous relationship:
1. Big Bang Theory 2. America's Funniest Home Videos 3. The Middle 4. Last Man Standing 5. 2 Broke Girls 6. Two and a Half Men 7. Elementary 8. Scorpion 9. Saving Hope 10. The Goldbergs
In fact, "Scorpion" could easily move up.

"Scorpion" remains ahead of "Elementary" regardless of what happens.
AVP told me "Saving Hope" was back but I didn't see it in time. YouTube has probably gotten rid of it.

"Last Man Standing" should be ahead of "The Middle". The absence of Ryan is the reason.
