I won't do a new list until I see all of the new shows. "Elementary" could make it back into my Top 10 but "the Good Doctor" and "The Orville" would be ahead of it. Both those shows would score very high if I just ranked them according to what I like about each episode. But that's not how it works. The parts I like make me more excited to watch but the parts I don't like don't do nearly as well. Your process seems complicated. I based my list on which shows I would choose to watch if I could watch only ten shows. They are the shows I enjoy more than any other shows that I like. Just here to post a link but I'll respond to this too. Some shows have enough scenes I don't like that I have a hard time thinking of them as my favorites, and yet I look forward to them more than other shows. I mentioned that it's like going to the eye doctor when I decide which shows are in my top ten. Do I like this one overall better than this one? |

I haven't watched "Happy Together" or "The Kids Are Alright" so I'm not ready to make my new list. What was I thinking? Neither of these shows was ever going to make the list and I knew it. "The Kids" has the brother from "Me Myself & I" and I liked the scene with the father and the oldest brother. Other than that, it's just okay. Here's where it stands: 1. Big Bang Theory 2. America's Funniest Home Videos 3. Last Man Standing 4. Match Game 5. Young Sheldon 6. MacGyver 7. Speechless 8. The Goldbergs 9. Lethal Weapon 10. God Friended Me I should list "The Orville" but it's been a while and I'm not sure where it would go. I decided not to wait until it comes back. Wait … "Elementary" should be on here. It got better. |

"The Good Doctor" would make it if "The Match Game" is cancelled. I've never found out whether it is. And it's not in just because of the disgusting and scary medical stuff. I know all these emergencies excite people, but I could do without them.
"Supergirl" is WKRR radio at the time when a newspaper article said WTQR radio and cockroaches would survive Armageddon. WTQR is "God Friended Me". Actually, 20 years later The Wolf actually beat WTQR in the ratings.

I was premature listing my favorite shows. Assuming "Match Game" isn't cancelled, "MacGyver" goes back to being funny and Gutierrez does not become a regular:

I've been watching "Happy Together" and it is much better than the first ones I saw. Still not in my top ten.
I thought "The Orville" might end up in my top ten but based on last night it's not happening. It's still way up there but I've enjoyed the show much more.

This might be my list right now. I'm unlikely to put "Katy Keene" here when I start watching that. Or "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist".

I put "Dynasty" in ninth place, having forgotten how wild "To Tell the Truth" is, especially with Mama Doris. I was thinking only of the scenes with Fallon. As I watched Friday's episode, I realized I don't like the rest of the show that much.

I'm not sure why I never considered "Burden of Truth" but it should probably be here.

Okay, "Burden of Truth" wasn't that good.
"To Tell the Truth" isn't either. whether I like it depends on the celebrities and if there are a bunch I never heard of, then I don't enjoy it nearly as much.
