Ok so I was talking w/Leesa earlier today about the order in which to watch the BSG reboot.
We figured out that "The Plan" was filmed after the series but the SL takes place before the series. There's also Caprica (totally underrated) to watch.
My plan is to watch in this order: Caprica The Plan BSG
Shall I do it this way or another way?
Thanks for the help in advance!

It was a tick slow but it was still great! All the performances were fantastic!

I love Eric Stoltz in ANYTHING.
But on Caprica, I hated Zoe. She was annoying and sounded like a pack a day smoker.

I too, loved Caprica. I feel that you may get more out of watching it in the order it aired, as watching Caprica first will spoil some secrets that are more fun not to know in BSG. Watch the BSG miniseries first, then the BSG show episodes, however, between seasons 3 and 4, add BSG:Razor, THEN watch BSG: The Plan when you've finished those. It was the last thing aired. Same reason as Caprica for watching that one in the order in which it appeared. Oh, and of course, save Caprica for last. With any luck, by the time you finish they'll be starting Blood and Chrome.

I bought the Battlestar Galactica DVD set season one couple of years ago. I am currently re- watching all of the episodes. This is my favorite series outside of supernatural.
The only problem I had with Caprica is the teenage angst. OMC.

Say I don't mind being spoiled, is my order do-able? Caprica was a great show! It was a little slow @ times but still better than a lot of the other crap on. I don't think SyFy gave it enough of a chance & they were constantly moving it around which didn't help!

I wouldn't watch 'The Plan' before the series, even though it comes chronologically before BSG. It was done more as a fill-in-the-blanks / different perspective thing, and though I don't totally remember everything that happens, I'm not sure it would completely make sense out of context.
More importantly a big part of watching BSG is trying to figure out which characters are cyclons and which are humans. If you watch 'The Plan' first, you'll already know who most (all?) of the cyclons are. I think that would go beyond being spoiled and take away a lot from the intended viewing experience.
