I am almost finished with book one, and like it immensely. Don't want it to end, because I don't have book two in from the library yet! How many books are there?  |

the first book was alright. didn't like the other 2 as much. movie should be interesting. i can't wait to hear what the mocking jay sounds like. and see all the crazy outfits katnis wears. The last one definitely wasn't as good. It was so damn depressing. And I didn't like the way it ended. i hated the way it ended and i was very upset i wanted more  |

well just got watching it a ok film could of been better though rating from me I give it a fair 7/10 rating for good.

well i finished the last book i gotta say the ending wasnt what i hoped for Right?!?!!? I felt there were so much left unsaid ....... it was a weird ending. But I love that _____ & _____ ended up together and happy in the end.  |

But I love that _____ & _____ ended up together and happy in the end. ![]() Im not sure they were happy i think too much was taken from them for them to b happy the way they deserved and i gotta say i was let down by the extreme lack of any detail of their act of finally giving in to the passion dont get me wrong i dont like smutty sex scenesor any of that romance novel detailing just if ive followed a couple for such a long time through such an emotional roller coaster i feel as a reader there should be somethingit could have been done tastefully and modestly . I felt cheated. Ive read many boo where they were never explicit but used one sentence that was written beautifully and made the sex part more than just that the author worded it in a sincere way causing me to always remember the sentence |

I felt the same way. I loved the first two books and merely liked the third one, but that was mainly because I liked the characters already.
It was way too predictable to me. I knew exactly what was going to happen every step of the way, including where that final arrow was going. It was an unsatisfying ending to the series for me.
I just now started watching the movie and am about to watch a little more of it before going to sleep tonight.
I was amazed at how much the first shots we got of District 12 looked so much like Appalachia, the setting for the first movie I saw Jennifer Lawrence in--Winter's Bone. It was superb, and so was she.
After seeing that movie I knew she was the perfect Katniss.
