I like a good old fancy strategy game, a la Civilization. Something I can poke in to when I have time with a coffee without being burdened by real time speeds or other players waiting their turn.
Another game I've played quite a few times are the "Total War" franchise, wether it be the classical age with Romans, Greeks and Egyptians; Medieval times and their many crusades and discoveries or the Colony years with the foundation of America and the many conflicts in Europe.
For a closet history buff they are yummy to dive into, and I know little enough that I don't mind they may not be 100% historically accurate.
If I want something fun and paced, sign me up for a racing game of some sort. I rarely play the First Person shooters or similar, just find them quite repetitive.

Thanks for your input LC, I know I have played a few racing games but I am really bad at it! I always end up in last place but there a few games where I had to be in first place which was one of the challenges in a Nancy Drew game but other those rare moments I avoid the racing games!

I started out playing all the match 3, cards, and hidden object games on my computer. I also played games like Diner Dash, and other "dash games". I hate them all! I think I am too calm all the time to bother dashing for anything. After you mentioned it, I looked up the Sims. It's like playing house and raising a family. I do not have any games like that though. I saw what you said about racing games, and I never come in first place. Sometimes the race is stopped before I cross the finish line.  ButI still try. I play a wide variety of games on my phone. In fact, I no longer bother to play any of the games on the computer. The phone is so very convenient. |

I only play Bookworm, Bejewelled and Who wants to be a millionaire on my phone! But one my friends has a fruit/veggie slicing game on her phone, she showed it to me, it looks cool!

What was everyones very first computer/console? I recall collecting bottles and doing all sorts of chores for older people in the apartment complex, finally earning enough for my Commodore 64 and the added tape recorder! Ah Bruce Lee, Bubble Bobble, The Olympics (that marathon would take out my hand for days!) and not to forget Ghosts & Goblins! Woo. |

I bought Tomb Of The Lost Queen yesterday. So far not my favorite..... zzz I love the setting.. but I wish there was more to do. I finished it yesterday and it doesn't turn out like I thought it would, the ending is a bit off if you ask me! I'll be glad to help if you need any along the way! |
