Happy Supernatural Friday Everyone!!!!!

We’ve made it!!!! It’s time for the finale and I’m super excited. I’m hoping for a minor cliffhanger and nothing crazy that will drive me mad all summer. I don’t think I can take it. LOL I’m excited to see the Impala! I’m anxious to find out what’s going to happen with Bobby and Cas! I wonder how the boys are finally going to get rid of Dick!

Crowley is meeting with Dick about the boys. Crowley's blood is the key to everything. Dick knows there is blood out there for the boys if something happens to Crowley.
Free range grazing for all demons. In Canada.
Dick wants the US. OMG Dick is giving Crowley some blood to tell the boys it's his and then something bad will happen.

OMG Crowley wanted to kiss but Dick wanted something to sign. Crowley has a contract miles long.

HAHA Last time Dean saw Cas he showed up naked covered in beets.

There's the maid Bobby took over. He's still possessing her.

OMG Crowley and Dick are amending the contract. They are up to 300 something.

The boys are trying to find someone righteous to take their bones for part of the ritual.
"Let's bone this nun"

Dick and Crowley are ready to sign the contract.

OK weird. Sam & Dean are trying to conjure up Crowley. He didn't show. They are thinking something went wrong.
Someone is at the door...
It's Meg. She wants the boys to take care of Cas. He made Meg come back to the US without her wanting to. Dean wants to know why. "go ask him he was your boyfriend first"

Cas is talking about monkeys and bananas and testing lipstick on them.
Weird...Cas is walking around the room and grabbed the nun's bone and knew who it was by smelling it.

Cas went to the prophet(Kevin's) home but he wasn't there and all the angels are dead. Dean is wondering where Kevin is....Cas is talking about monkeys again. Dean is frustrated.
Cas knows Kevin is alive. Meg is wondering if they called Crowley. She wants to bail but oops to late Crowley showed up just in time. Of course!

HAHA Meg tried to leave but Crowley stopped her.

Crowley is wonderin gwhy Cas is dead. He's pissed at Cas and now he's pissed at the boys for harbouring an angel.
Crowley wants to know what's up with Cas. He just started spewing off about insects and honey and collecting it himself. "You're off your rocker. He's off his rocker?"

"Text me when Sparkles retrieves his marbles"

Oh that bugger he's giving the boys the demon blood. he's telling the boys it's not his blood and he made a deal with Dick. But now he's telling him it's his blood. Crowley is going to take Meg and roast her. But he's going to let her stay with Cas until they get Dick.

There's the maid!Bobby walking down the street. Trying to get into a car. Whoa there was iron on there and it made Bobby jump out of her body. Oh crap Bobby saw a newspaper article about Dick being man of the year. He got pissed and jumped into the womans body again.


Poor Kevin is locked in a room. A Levi just brought some young girl in the room name Polly. She just sat down. Eating licorice. She's kinda out of it.

Sam and Dean are putting together the ritual. They are wondering if they are being double crossed. They are going for it anyway. Sam is pouring the blood on the bones. Nothing happened yet...The boys are waiting. "Where's all the thunder and lightning?" Sam "Maybe it worked!"

Cas is back. He brought the boys ham sandwiches.

WTH Dick has the real Dick's arm in a box. "Nice watch" OK that's kinda sick!!!!

The levi just brought in some outfit for the young girl to get dressed. Kevin just looked like WTH!

Dick is meeting with a bunch of delegates. She's dressed in the outfit left for her. A levi just brought some food in for Kevin. "I'm a vegan"
Oooh college boy so smart...Kevin grabbed one of the bobby pins to try and unlock the door.

All the delegates Dick is meeting with are Levi's. He's feeding them fresh orphan.
He's showing them a map of the US how everything is going to work. Testing, labs etc....

Kevin is free!!!! Oh crap Dick's lacky is there and caught Kevin .

Sam and Dean are hacking in Dick's cam. OMG WTH!!!! There's like 3 Dick's walking around!!!!! OK that sounds funny!!!

Additive 3.0 they just inject into humans. He's injecting Polly. She looks like she's going to throw up. She's foaming at the mouth. Now she's dead. OMG it targets certain body types to weed out the people in teh food chain they don't want.

Sam and Dean are still outside Dick's compound. The maid!Bobby is there. Sam recognizes her and knows it's Bobby. Sam just got out against Dean's wishes and Sam told Dean to shut up and ran off.

Bobby just got stopped by Sam. He's telling him to stop cause there are camera's everywhere. OMG Bobby just tried to stab Sam. He's choking him now!!! OMG STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he just staw his reflection in the car window and jumped out of her body realizing what he was doing.

Meg wants to know why the boys bailed and helped the maid.

"Dick made more Dick's." They don't know which is which.

Cas wants a cat. "Doesn't this place seem one species short?"

Dean is pissed at Cas and wants him to clean up his mess.
Cas "You know we should play twister"
Meg, "Nice, you scared off the empires only hope"

HAHA Cas went and got a twister game and he's playing it.

Bobby just showed up. He's mad that the boys didn't burn the flask. He thought they would. He wants to go after Dick so bad and he hates the feeling.

Being vengeful is an itch you can't scratch out. Bobby is done. He can't handle it. He wants the boys to take care of things "Do it cause it's your job. And when it's your time.......Go!!!!"

OMG they are gonna burn the flask. :(Bobby is saying goodbye. Dean looks sad. Sam too. Dean's throwing the flask in the fire. It's burning away!!!! :(Bobby just flamed out!!!!! :(He's gone!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOBBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK I hate that Bobby is gone but glad he went on his own terms and the boys accepted it!
I hate the boys looking so sad!!!!!!!!!!!

Cas has many board games in front of him. Dean "Cas I need a wingman"
He wants to go run an errand. OMG He's going to get BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cas is talking about his resurrection being worse every time. He's not good luck.

Dean's asking if he thinks he's good luck.
Awww Cas knows Dean is forgiving him. Awww Cas is going to go with the boys and help them now!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!

GET YOUR MOTOR RUNNIN!!! HEAD OUT ON THE HIGHWAY!!!!!!!!

Woohoo they are driving Baby right into Sucrocorp!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHA It's Meg in the car!! She drove the car right thru the Sucrocorp sign!!!

The levi are trying to shoot Meg but being a demon of course she can't be shot. She just took out all the Levi. OMG there are a couple demons there and they just got Meg.

Sam is rescuing Kevin. Kevin wants to blow up the lab cause Dick's co. is going to kill skinny people.

HAHA Cas and Dean just off'd one of Dick's guys. Dick is there.
"Are you sure I'm even me"

OMG Dick just threw Cas!!! Dean stabbed Dick in the heart but it didn't work. Did you really think you could trump me? Cas got up quick and grabbed Dick's head and OMG Dean just stabbed Dick thru the neck with the bone. Oh crap the room is starting to pulse!!!! Oh crap Dick just blew up but something else happened too............ARGH commercial.

OMG Dean is gone!!! So is Cas!!!!

Kevin and Sam are still there. Crowley just showed up. Sam is wondering where Dean is. The weapon he used had something to it.
Crowley just took Kevin. "Sorry Moose, wish I could help"
sam is all alone!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He looks completely freaked!!!!!!!!!!

WTH is this place? Where is Dean?? He just woke up. Cas is there. "Where are we?" They are in Purgatory!! Oh shit! Shit Shit Shit!!!!
Cas just disappeared and left Dean by himself. Shit shit Shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so conflicted. While looking forward to a kick-ass season ending episode, I can't help but feel a long summer hellatus looming.

California feels like the last place on Earth to see the episodes. I've got to admit, not bad. Hell, maybe even a good epi, but that's hard to wrap my head around.

On the bad side...
How was I more on the edge of my seat for confronting Eve than Dick?
I cringed at "Let's bone a nun" & the Vincent Van Gogh music. Please don't overdo the hippie shout outs. Felt horrible that the Garrison was probably all dead.


On the good side...
DEAN: Do I look like good luck to you?
Cas saying "I get it now. These are punishment resurrections. They get worse every time."
Sam down talking Bobby.
Bobby asking for release.
Crowley is usually worth watching too.

S8 set has potential

Dean/Cas in Purgatory has great potential too. But I saw too many great premises fizzle this season to get too hopeful. I hope Dean/Cas find Bobby in Purgatory.

Gah! Tired, off to bed. I'm just pleased that I wasn't cringing, and actually enjoyed some good lines like old times. I might even rewatch.

Thought maybe there could have been a little more Dick interaction before they killed him, but how it hppened was pure Dean and pure Supernatural.

Sam's shocked face at the end was sorrowful. We all know how dreadfully he does without Dean beside him. And now he has no Harvelles, no Bobby, no Rufus or, it seems any other hunter buddy to help him.

Dean in Purgatory?? Shocking. Castiel's voice and looked seemed like he was his old self again, but I guess that also means we're stuck with him in season 8.

Glad to see we'll also have Crowley in season 8 along with leaderless leviathans, the alpha vamp and demons.

It's gonna be a looooooooong summer.

Wow, I liked this episode. I'm still a bit stunned at where it ended.

Hearing "Carry On My Wayward Son" is always bittersweet, because I like the song, but also know that it's the end of the season.

OMG, almost everything with Cas made me laugh. From his talking about Monkey's and honey to his constant playing of board games. I was LOL during the whole exchange between Cas and Crowley and then Dean's expressions to Crowley when Crowley looked at Dean.

Watching Sam and Dean burn Bobby's flask and Bobby's last words to them was really sad. Ultimately, it had to be done, especially after Bobby nearly choked Sam to death. Janice, you're right, if Dean had seen him do that to Sam, who knows what would have happened.

I am surprised that when the boys were flipping through the surveilance camera's looking for Dick, they didn't come across Kevin at all. The only thing I figure is that there wasn't a camera in Kevin's room. The thing with Polly was kind of creepy and sad. It was freaky how stoned she was and just undressed in front of them.

From an acting standpoint, I give that girl props for doing that. I'm going to guess she's only in her teens, so to be brave and willing enough to do that, I applaud her.

I liked how Dean faked Dick out with the bone switch.

The ending, WOW!!! Did not see that coming with Dean being in Purgatory.

I know Jared mentioned the brothers being separated in an interview earlier this week, but I didn't know if he meant right away or some point next Season, so I was a little surprised when the ending occurred and they ended up separated. What I am happy about though, is that the separation isn't of their choosing.

However--and I may be being extremely picky here--I noticed that one of Sam's first questions was where was Dean?? Verses Dean never asked about Sam, even after he realized where he was.

Liked seeing the Impala back. Enjoyed the music selection, "Born to be Wild" for it's re-introduction. Took me a while to get why Dean was getting it now, and came up with the conclusion that Dean thought he and Sam could very well die the next day, so rather go out with both barrels and everything they got, including the car.

TPTB said they worked on the car, gave it an upgrade and honestly, I didn't really see any difference to it. Other than the windows being dark-tinted. Obviously, don't want to change it too much, but still. Then again, I'm not a big car person, so that could be why it doesn't look different to me.

I would say no, since we know Sam is just as important to Dean as Dean is to Sam.

First of all, Dean being in Purgatory is SoCal's fault. In the S8 Party thread, she insisted on pushing Castiel into Purgatory. When it's true love - whither thou goeth, I goeth. So of course Dean wound up in Purgatory with him. ;D

I wondered why Dick was touted as the smartest foe they had encountered. IMO, Crowley is their smartest foe, but Dick certainly would be second. None of their other foes accomplished what the Levis did. They masterminded a plan to enslave the human race. They were organized and were able to do it all right in the open. They made our guys run and hide; and being on the FBI's most wanted list did not make them ditch Baby.

I thoroughly enjoyed having snarky Dean back. It makes me so Every time someone knocks on the door, first thing they do is draw a weapon! What a life. Dean was not happy about Castiel being on his car, naked, covered in bees. But Castiel did offer some of the honey to Crowley. That was so sweet considering their relationship. Dean kept trying to be patient with Castiel, but we could tell he wanted to yell at him.


Castiel: How important is lipstick to you, Dean?
Dean: *struggling to remain calm* Not very.

I like Crowley's snark also. He referred to Cas as a ball of wet fur and sparkles. When Dean asked Crowley why they should trust him, he gave them excellent advice. "Good God, don't! Never trust anyone." Then he cast another dig at Castiel.

The scene about the sandwich as a gesture of solidarity was well played and definitely showed Castiel was no longer the "bigger picture" guy. I noticed that Castiel was actually in a Twister position when he was on the floor. Don't shoot me, but I have to say this. When Dean asked Castiel do I look like good luck to you, the looks they exchanged made me think we were in a Destiel moment! I wasn't sure what response was coming. Whew! I'm glad they talked about forgiveness.

Dick is always smarmy and delivers a lot of in-side jokes, like "The last time we were all in one room was inside that angel." The sushi was fresh orphan. The 3.0 getting rid of skinny girls must have been a shout out to some of the fans. I can't recall Sam or Dean being with any full-figured women.

All of that was the fun stuff. The serious stuff was rather dark and scary. I was never sure they would successfully get rid of Dick until we saw them in Purgatory. Leaving Sam absolutely alone is scary as hell. I can't imagine who he can turn to. He doesn't have a clue where Dean is and Crowley expects Sam to focus on killing Levis. Ha! I remember how Sam handled Dean's death in Mystery Spot. He became cold and scary.

I watched the episode a second time and Dean was so focused on Dick that he did not turn around and see that Sam had arrived. The image of Dean standing alone in that dark, desolate place surrounded by monsters with glowing red eyes is very haunting. So this finale screwed over everyone except clever Crowley. Sam, Dean, Bobby, Castiel and Meg are in deep trouble.
