And don't forget about this one. AntiArbitrator figured out the clue on page 9, but the password still needs to be figured out. Still thinking about this one. Question to see if I am on the right track Should I use anagrams to solve the password or Should it be a scientific response Be an The password isn't science-y, but you need something science-y to find it. Take the clue you found at face value.

What always runs but never walks, often murmurs, never talks, has a bed but never sleeps, has a mouth but never eats? ________________________________________________________
When you curtail a word, you remove the last letter and still have a valid word. You will be given
clues for the two words, longer word first. Example: Begin -> Heavenly body Answer: The words are Start and Star.
1. Local region of land -> Determine the number 2. Small -> A metallic element 3. Sarcasm -> A metallic element 4. Red gem -> Cause friction 5. Slick -> Foot covering 6. Prepared -> Understand something written 7. Analyse; learn -> House frame upright 8. Paralysis of a body part with uncontrolled tremors -> Friends ______________________________________________________
A different fruit (a total of twelve) is buried in every one of the following lines.
Can you detect them?
Ah! If I get my good ship home I'll find a tempting spot, Where mayhap pleasant flowers will bloom, And there I'll shape a charming cot.
Where bees sip nectar in each flower, And Philomel on hawthorn rests, I'll shape a rustic, sun-kissed bower - A bower meet for angel guests.
Then she who lives and loves with me, Sing our days of calm repose, Sole monarch of the flowers will be - For Myra is indeed a rose.
[Taltos note: While they are all technically fruits (they develop from flowers), some of them may not typically be considered as such (eg. tomato - not one of the answers) & at least one of them is a dried fruit.] ______________________________________________________
The answers to the following definitions all start with the prefix "para". It might take a bit of lateral thinking to figure them out! For example, the definition: "Two places where a building is being constructed" would have the answer "Parasites".
1. Two tender green plant growths 2. Two 10-cent pieces 3. Two male bovines 4. Two shark appendages 5. Two untruths 6. Two furry family members ______________________________________________________
What do these sentences translate to?
"A research team proceeded towards the apex of a natural geologic protuberance, the purpose of their expedition being the procurement of a sample of fluid hydride of oxygen in a large vessel, the exact size of which was unspecified. One member of the team precipitously descended, sustaining severe damage to the upper cranial portion of his anatomical structure; subsequently the second member of the team performed a self rotational translation oriented in the same direction taken by the first team member."

Wow, haven't you two been busy! Everything is looking good except for: 2 .Two 10-cent pieces= Paradimes -> should be Paradigms (same pronunciation) Looks like it's just the 'fruit find' puzzle left from last night. ETA: actually this one's wrong too: 3. Two male bovines PARADOX -> I think that answer would be defined as: Two medical residents (or something like that).

My subconscious is still working on the password puzzle and the "feed it/give it something to drink puzzle". Just hasn't clicked yet. For the password puzzle, my brain went out on a limb with "on" or for the Smallville fans "krypton". Idn.
