I think I remember the commercial with Google but that other one doesn't sound familiar. I keep reading that the commercials weren't that good this year. I thought the commercials were entertaining. If not for that, I would have stopped watching the game. Why did the game delay other programming 30 minutes when it did not go into overtime? There weren't that many truly innovative commercials. I figure if the game had gone into overtime the next program would have been an hour late. I think they were both Patriots, but two football players were presenters at the Grammys. In L.A. They appreciated the cheers and didn't mind the boos. I didn't hear those. |

I should add Charlotte would have done this two years ago but transgender people in certain buildings were required to use the restroom that corresponded with the gender on their birth certificate, and the NBA and many others cancelled events.

The sports teams on "Schooled" have the same colors as the L.A. Rams. I had American Plastic Bricks as a child, and those were sort of like Legos. The last set I used had small blocks those two colors.

"Schooled" is a spinoff of "The Goldbergs" and, while I had forgotten what their team colors were, it is the same school. I did see an episode which showed one of the teams and they were the same colors.
My aunt and uncle were talking about whether they could attend the tennis matches of one of their grandsons. He's a big guy who also played football.

I saw a photo of Cam Newton in a hospital bed, so we know he had the surgery but what we don't know is will he be back next season. if he takes a year off he can really heal. And one of the names mentioned to replace him if that happens: Colin Kaepernick! Jerry Richardson didn't approve of the protestors but David Tepper, who owns the team now, doesn't have a problem.

I wondered why "MacGyver" wasn't on. I realized I was wrong when I saw during a movie I watched that the station with the movie was airing the ACC Tournament, which isn't until this week. And it's in Charlotte. I thought the CBS stations in my area did, but with the tournament longer now, I guess a lot of fans of CBS shows would be upset. This could still be a problem.
I forgot that in some years I have been unable to listen to my favorite country radio station when I went to Wake Forest because Wake Forest was playing. So I was lucky that the tournament was not last week like I thought it would be.

What are you talking about Kyle? That's just one of my CBS affiliates. I watch another one which, it turns out, is carrying the games now. So "Fam" was on in the middle of the night. I made sure to add time in case the recording started late. "Big Bang Theory" and "Young Sheldon" were reruns but I saw they would be on in the middle of the night. "MacGyver" is on in the middle of the night tonight. Also, I haven't seen the newspaper yet but I thought I saw something about the Panthers moving to South Carolina when I was fast-forwarding through the news trying to see the weather. There are not the Charlotte Panthers. And the team will play in Charlotte … for now. |
