Purple lights on the buildings and reflecting on the water, Ravens logo painted on lawns, purple lights lining the streets and purple flags, etc. everywhere. People are excited and happy and it is infectious.

When I was watching it I knew the Ravens season was over because they couldn't get it together on offense and one they did it was over for them by than.

Golden Globes Red Carpet Show got pre-empted by football. I doubt I would have been interested in much that they did, but unless someone knew where else to go, that surely made people mad.

When I was watching it I knew the Ravens season was over because they couldn't get it together on offense and one they did it was over for them by than. I agree. Plus I am a Chargers fan because I am from CA where they are from too. I am just glad it wasn't a blow out like it was for 3 quarters. |

Low scoring game - NE scored a field goal and LA missed a field goal.
Most surprising commercial was the Budweiser/Game of Thrones battle.
I really liked the Fast & Furious promo and the Captain Marvel promo.

The T-Mobile commercials are hilarious. During half-time show, I loved Maroon 5. It seemed like one of the rappers was being bleeped. At first, I thought the network was having technical difficulty.  |

I liked the series of Bud Lite commercials and the Alexa commercial. I think I remember liking the T-Mobile commercials. And the "Fast & Furious" movie looks good but August? I don't even go to the theaters and I would have to wait that at least long to see it. There's no way I could stand the noise of that movie in a theater.
I couldn't believe the score. I saw how close that ball was. What possible reason was there that they couldn't get it across that line? They just started walking away at halftime. I've seen this when someone takes a knee, but why were they doing that? I suppose I could have backed up and listened to sound ...

The game was dull and choosing to not play the ball when it was practically in the end zone did not help. The T-Mobile commercials showed a series of text messages and responses that were funny. I recall one where a man sent a flirtatious message to a woman and asked her to send him a photo. He received a photo of a man who informed him the lady gave him a fake number. Another one was from a grandparent who was asking for a recipe and even though the family member told her that texting is not how you "Google" info, she kept texting. |
