Chloe's Writing Challenge #1

I cannot believe no one thought to post a challenge or contest yet!

Anyways, an old friend of mine presented this challenge to me and I thought I'd challenge you... I'm thinking maybe I'll do a series of writing challenges, but we'll see how this one goes first:

What character or person has had the biggest influence on your life? Briefly describe what personal traits you have made a conscious effort to cultivate due to your relationship with this influential figure.

Maybe I'll post my answer to this challenge sometime... I just wanted to try out a challenge to share with you guys.

Okay no one has started a response to this so I'll start with my own:

There have been many people who have influenced in my life and some of these people are famous and some have not. Here is a small sample of who has influenced me: my mom, Michael J. Fox, Tom Welling, Christopher Reeve, my AFJROTC mentor Major Lois Davis, some church members and more. I think what influences me the most is their traits of loyalty, optimism, hard-work, trust and believing the best in people and succeeding despite hardships, trials, obstacles, etc. I would say that because of these traits in these people I see in myself trying to do the same and pass these traits onto others like my Sunday School students and others as well. It isn't easy especially when you hear a lot of people saying "You can't" but I try to press on and "Oh yes I can and just watch me achieve my dreams!"

Thank you Chloe/sis for this challenge! This was a great start and it helped me with my sour mood and cheered me up so thanks again! I look forward to the next challenge!
