Under the masthead, go to 'profile', then choose 'modify profile' and you can do all that.
Also, when posting avatars or other images, remember to store them in your own online account, such as PhotoBucket. Hot-linking them from someone else's website is a no-no.

Thank you. I hope we will soon have a place to get all our questions answered. I remember the CW site had a thread which wasn't a sticky but it kept getting bumped periodically.

there ARE some posts on the main forum about how to do things, but I don't think those particular two are included. It's a good idea, and I'm sure we'll do it. Thanks for the idea!

When I'm not signed in I can clearly see the "Home", "New Topic" and other links at the top of the page, but when I'm signed in the background for these is light gray and the white words are hard to read.
I tried the various looks and concluded Leesa is the one I like, except for that.

I did this on the CW and WB sites. Perhaps it's time to gather advice that has been posted all over the boards in one place. Now I was criticized on the CW site because it wasn't organized, but maybe someone can give me advice on how to proceed.

I appreciate that.
It would be nice to have the screen shots in there too but I don't know how. I'm not sure how to identify all the places that need them. I know the post I just finished has them.
By the way, we had a fire drill which is why my last post showed 11:00 but was then edited. Although most if not all of these will be edited.
Edit: Okay, it wasn't 11:00. I don't know where that came from.
I'm going to work on the links now. Mistermoonlight had a post that shows how that works.

One of the posts didn't get a link yet. I forgot it. But it was to get some more information which I saved and then lost. Edit: Okay, found it. You'll notice I am a very strict moderator.
I just found yet another thread whose content will have to go the next time.

But at least we have a start.

There is one thing you could help me with. I would have to find all the posts that had them, but screen shots would be very useful in the posts on the thread I created, and I don't know how to do those.

A lot of work today.
I seem to have the attachments identified in the copied posts that have them, so if there's anyhting you can do to change those to the actual attachments, i would appreciate it.
I have spent so much time on this i will be taking a few weeks off.
I haven't even come close to copying all there is to copy, and then there is our history.
And believe it or not, I have a life other than this site, even a life without the Internet.
