Ideas needed for my story

I am currently working on a Civil War story which is about 2/3rds finished but I don't need too much help with that story but I do have a science fiction story I am currently working on and I have to come up with made-up animals, plants, weapons, traditions, etc. for 12 individual planets and here is where I need your help, I have done research by one of the characters for about 6 of the planets but I need to have each planet be different, so I need you to come up with made-up animals, plants, weapons, traditions, etc. that could be for each of the remaining planets so I can move the story along much quicker, thanks in advance.

BTW, you can include pictures you have drawn yourself, music you would like to hear used in the story, pictures you may have found on the internet and more, but please remember I am wanting original stuff only not stuff used from Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. I want this story to be my own with no copyrighted stuff, thanks!

Okay. Here's an idea for a plant/creature that might look like a volcano. It eats the components of dynamite and explosively shoots out its seeds. Some seeds actually leave the planet.

Another plant causes the people scratched by it to be so blissfully happy that they are too content to do anything. They just sit by the plant until they die and the plant can digest them.
