Why is there a true blood thread up, yet I can't access it? An Error Has Occurred Sorry, but you do not have permission to access this area.

I was able to access it with no problem. It seems to be set up properly. I hope it was a temporary glitch. I clicked on the red Cable shows, then True Blood and there is a video. Please try again and let me know.

I was able to follow your link to the thread, and you should have access. I will ask MisterMoonlight to review the issue. This is the video.

Why do so many shows that are no longer current in prominent positions on the boards? Smallville? Seventh Heaven? Shouldn't there be a separate place for shows no longer on the air and are only in re-runs? And more current shows should be moved up to a better position. Make it so!

Thanks for the suggestion and we will review the placement of the shows that are off the air. I believe the Smallville forum is in the right spot because many of their fans still talk about the show and make numerous daily posts in the Shipper Free thread and other threads.

Shouldn't there be a separate place for shows no longer on the air and are only in re-runs? And more current shows should be moved up to a better position. Make it so! This is a great opportunity for us to shed a little light on both our goals and methodology regarding group history and our vision for the future. When we first created the board our mission was simple--create a home for all former WB and CW Louge members. A place where they could post about their favorite shows, whether current or in the past. And if we don't have it, and it comes from our heritage, we'll create a space for it. But, in addition to recreating our past we were also looking towards the future, and began to incorporate shows we liked, with the goal of becoming a wider forum. Shows such as True Blood, Revolution, The Walking Dead, etc . . . Our methodology was that we start these shows on a lower rung and see which ones take off and grow to the point they deserve promotion to the 'TV Hot List' forum. The number of posts in a forum gives us a good indication of how strong they are. However, if we were to go strictly by that, Smallville would be in the top spot with almost 14,000 posts, followed by Supernatural with 10,000. So, we give some preference to current shows in deciding where they show up in the list. We're also guessing that after Supernatural goes off the air you might like to have a place to continue to post about it here. Down the line we see expanding the services of this board way beyond just the forum, and actually becoming content providers as well, in a site where the forum would just be one element. We've got some excellent writers here, and we look forward to the day when we can employ them to do what they do best and actually get paid for it.

Some posters keep changing their screen name to get around the ignore option. Shouldn't there be a way to keep that person on ignore not matter how many times they change their screen name?

I know a couple of people who like changing their names here from time to time, but I doubt either one does it for anything other than fun.
To be honest, I don't think any of us knew that it affected the Ignore button code that we installed a while back.
I do know this, in ProBoards V5, which we're currently beta testing. there is a robust 'block member' feature built in which gives you choices to:
1. Hide this member's posts. 2. Do not let this member start new conversations with me. 3. Do not let this member follow me or my activities. 4. Block notifications from this member.
I have just posted the question as to whether the V5 upgrade takes into account the changing of display names, and will let you know when we get an answer.

Good news. I have an answer from ProBoards support for you already:
"When one member blocks another in v5, they are blocked on the account level. So changing the display name won't get around the block."

What's the point of "exalt" "smite" when you mods/admins can just up your karma when it's being shot down.
Either play fair or get rid of it. That's why I don't use it.

One of the staff members adjusted the karma as a joke. I think the expiration date for the joke being funny has passed. I know there have been several complaints about this with no response and I regret that it reflects negatively on the entire staff.

I apologize for leaving the karma like that, I never usually pay attention to this sort of thing, so I've completely forgotten. I have taken my Karma off and will be leaving it off.
Again, I apologize.

It might have been funny had it applied to anyone EXCEPT mods/admins, but since they only fix their own karma, it just irritates the rest of the membership. It's a silly function anyway.

Our security logs show us every single thing that happens on the board.
This is just the first page. There are 99 others just like it.
Since there was a vendetta going on, I decided to add a million karma points to MissNichloe's account see how long it would continue.
She had nothing to do with it--that was all me.

In V5 there is no karma function. It's like FaceBook in that there is a 'like' function for posts you agree with. However, there is a karma plug-in that we can add.

Hey, if you don't like it then opt out, but don't be a crybaby and up your or another admin's karma.
It just shows how you play favorites. Which, in case you can't admit it, WE ALL KNOW YOU DO.
"Security logs" What a joke.

I've set my own karma at negative 1,000,033. If you'd like to try to get it down to 2 million you're welcome to do so.

Listing when and who smited Chloe? You might as well list my smiting history too, because smiting Chloe was a priority for me. It was something that God told me to do.

It wasn't necessary, it was an adjunct. Kind of an extra credit thing that God suggested.
But sometimes he's wrong, you know.

For you, Gabby, of course.
Hang in there, it may take a little while.
UPDATE: Aw, this really sucks. I don't know how to work Windows 7 on my cousin's computer. Hang on, I'm switching to my laptop.
Since Jan. 12th you've smited AVP three times and Cooldude2012 once. None for Chloe.
