I liked that show. I was lucky to live where it aired. It was on the one aggressive rock station in the area. Then that station was sold and moved to Charlotte, where it became Easy 102.9. They call it Lite 102.9, but the name has been meaningless for years.

Some of the doctor demento songs I find funny boot to the head ,fish heads,thats where I learned the songs purple people eater,homecoming queens got a gun, witch doctor ect.
My younger brother has CDs with these songs, we used to listen to them when we were kids all the time and we still do in our adult years except now we have these songs on our iPods,iPads,iPhones  .

Now Dr. Demento really DID play everything. |
