The one shown at Comic-Con is now officially released and on the web. It comes in two versions. Video is the same for each, but in the first one Kevin Costner, as Jonathan Kent, does the voiceover, and in the second one, it's Russel Crowe as Jor-El. What do you think?

It doesn't show us anything we haven't seen many times before, so I kinda agree.
We've seen the origin story so many times before, between the Richard Donner movies, Smallville, Superman Returns, and many more sources that it's all ancient history.
I don't like what they've done with his costume, and I saw Henry Cavill in The Immortals recently, a movie which sucked so bad that it caused me to wonder about him and the choices he's made in movies.
Word is that this is a 'darker' version of Superman, which to my mind is ridiculous. Superman is the very opposite of dark, and making him into Batman is not only silly, it's not respectful to who he actually is, no matter how you try to market or spin it.
Bryan Singer's Superman Returns did not hold together as a story very well, and had a very emo approach to Superman's character, but it did have some of the most spectacular Superman scenes ever filmed, and I love it for that. I just hope I'll find something to love in Zack Snyder's version.
Warner Bros. however, has a terrible track record in handling the Superman franchise, which is disappointing, since Superman is the most well-known hero in comic history, and should easily be the crown jewel in superhero franchises.

Oh yeah I remember hearing they wanted to make it darker to, I guess, appeal to a larger audience. But as you said that is just not Superman or what he stands for. I'll probably just check it out when it's out on dvd.

I'm a fanboy, and I'm sure I'll be there on opening day. I waited for 19 frakkin' years for the next Superman movie from Warner Bros. (who somehow could not make sense of the Superman franchise and how to move forward with it for almost two decades) before seeing Superman Returns in 2006, so getting another one next year seems short by comparison.
