So far, this is the only thing on the CW that's got my interest, and that's mainly because I'm a comic book fan. While Green Arrow has never been my top pick, I've read plenty of his books over the decades.

In the trailers, at one point Stephen Amell looks just like Oliver Queen did in the comics--when he's on the island with the long hair and beard. Much more so than Justin Hartley, who I think we all loved in the role on Smallville.

These two characteristics about Oliver Queen stick with me, in addition to being a billionaire he is one of the most avowedly politically liberal of DC's superheroes. That, and for a good amount of time in the comics he had a drinking problem.

If he and Tony Stark were to meet I'm pretty sure it would be an interesting time.

I'm wondering if the CW will have the guts not to tinker with his character in these two areas.

Here's my suggested tagline for the show: Arrow: He's Better Than Aquaman!

I like the tagline. Don't know if we have any Aquaman fans to challenge that. I plan to watch this, and it's convenient since it comes on right before Supernatural.

Good to hear that. I enjoy the drama, the action, and the magical arrows. I never miss an episode.
