Is is really down to 20 day??? Woo-hoo! I can hardly wait!!
The countdown clock is running at a little under 21 days, and the teaser keep on coming! Here's the official episode synopis for the season premiere, Episode 8.01, "We Need To Talk About Kevin"
SEASON PREMIERE
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3
“SUPERNATURAL” — (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET)
“We Need To Talk About Kevin” (TV-) (HDTV)
SAM AND DEAN ARE REUNITED AFTER A YEAR APART — Dean (Jensen Ackles) re-emerges from Purgatory, but he isn’t alone. He heads straight for Sam (Jared Padalecki), but the reunion isn’t exactly what he thought it would be. Sam drops everything to join his brother, but leaving the life he had grown to enjoy turns out to be harder than he imagined. Dean and Sam look for Kevin (guest star Osric Chau) who has managed to escape Crowley’s (guest star Mark Sheppard) grasp, but things come to a head quickly when Kevin tells them what it is that Crowley wants. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Jeremy Carver (#802).

Premier is almost here. Maybe Kevin should have been around when Sam was in Crowley's "grasp".

10 Days! Awesome! I can't wait but I guess I will have to  Anti, Just because we are Cas fans doesn't make us any less SPN fans. We can be happy that he will be back, I will be just as happy to see Sam and Dean come back. I have all 7 seasons of SPN, I get the SPN magazine and have voted in countless polls for SPN. I try to get other people to watch and I watch every episode live. Even though I came late to the fandom I am a big fan of the show and try and do what I can to support it. |

10 days is beginning to seem close. Thanks SoCal - for the countdown or I would probably tune in on Friday, two days after the premiere. I am a creature of habit. I enjoy Supernatural for all of its elements, all of the guys and gals, Baby, the humor, the snark, the angst, the brotherly bond+disharmony and the surprises.  Maybe coming late to the show and to the fandom kept us from being tarnished by the fights. I missed those so they never affected me. I do not plan to venture out to Tumblr or any sites where people can fight during S8. I'll just stay here and  with SoCal. |

Ah, NC, I don't hate Castiel, I think he's a good character, I just thought the angels storyline had run its course. Since they have the power to alter the timeline, heal people and forsee the future, I just thought, well, what do we need Dean and Sam for? But if they play his character well, I'm all for it.....I just want Dean and Sam to be the main focus of the series and pay a little less attention to the additions. |

SoCal, I agree Dean and Sam should be the main focus of SPN, the show is about them and it wouldn't be the same if either of them left.
I am curious to know what you thought about all the stunt casting in S7?
Cas was only in 4.1 episodes so he didn't take up a lot of focus.
