I was glad Emily did try to help the addict. It didn't work but at least she tried.
I did like the story line about pretending the man was the lesbian doctor's boyfriend.
And the story line about the transplant. I was sort of hoping that would work out. They nearly killed that poor girl!
I like Emily's hair when she's not at work. I don't know what's so different.

I just read that this series has been cancelled by the CW. However, as long as we keep getting posts to it, we will keep the forum up here on The Evicted.
And for the fans of this show, I'm so sorry to hear the bad news. Feel free to post your frustration(s) here.

What? OMG! THE CW has gone too far! I hate that! Everytime I start to like a show it gets cancelled or taken off the air!

Just because it wasn't promoted doesn't mean anything, certain shows weren't promoted very much and they lasted like Stargate SG-1

I liked the medical stuff but I've had it up to here with the relationship mess.
Cassandra changed her hair and she looked HOT.

Just because it wasn't promoted doesn't mean anything, certain shows weren't promoted very much and they lasted like Stargate SG-1 Some times it because of no A list names are in the show and people like us don't watch it. |

I don't think that has anything to do with it either, the A-team got cancelled in the mid of season 5 and George Peppard and Mr. T were both a part of that series!

Episode 6 Thoughts:
Emily was back to her old hairdo again and I think I spotted how her hair is fixed differently, when's she working she has a tiny bit of hair in a ponytail and the rest hangs down, when she's not her hair is just hanging straight down with no ponytail.
Anyways let me focus on my thoughts for the episode.
Emily dealt with some interesting patients in this episode. She dealt with a heart patient who had a deep religious faith that was the foundation of his life. She dealt with a baby that had both female and male parts. And she dealt with evaluations as well some interactions between Will, Tyra and Cassandra.
Emily and Cassandra are clashing a bit in this episode but by the end of the episode they are obviously respecting the other one a bit and Cassandra is trying to play low-key with her relationship with Will towards the end to respect Emily's feelings for him.
The baby with the female and male parts was an interesting part of the episode and it reminded of my uncle whose wife was pregnant and she carried the baby full term and when she delivered it the baby was fully formed from the top up but from the waist down the baby hadn't developed it's sex yet and sadly was stillborn. Because of my uncle being so poor at the time they decided to donate the baby's body to science so they could maybe uncover the medical mysteries surrounding this child. Anyways the baby's father in the episode was determined to remove the female parts so the child could be 100% male but after a few close calls, he realized to let the baby grow up and decide later on what they wish to become at the right time. By the end of the episode, he and the baby's mom were going to decide on a gender neutral name for the baby.
The heart patient with the deep religious faith had to recognize that even though we go through a near-death experience that doesn't mean that God has forgotten us instead it could be a part of His plan in the long run.
Also Will had a bigger part in this episode because he dealt with a patient who was having a bad case of the 'runs' a.k.a diarrhea, she was in extreme pain and Will gave her medicine before her lab results came back. Micah fussed at him a bit about that and removed him from the case but then later Emily came to Will's defense and Will was visiting the woman off-duty and we got to hear his perspective on Emily and the drunk phone call he had made to her back in college. The woman seemed surprised that Will wasn't involved with Emily but I think Will is having take a second look and realize maybe Emily isn't that bad after all.
Also they were having evaluations at work and Emily wrote some honest observations about her boss but stressed when everyone thought it was funny that she was telling the truth and she tried to take it back and rewrite it.
Tyra was a bit mad at Emily when she found that Emily knew about her father's affair and wouldn't talk to her for awhile until Emily finally cornered her and told her the truth and now they are back on track again. Also Tyra finally worked up enough courage to tell her dad that she is a lesbian.
Tonight's episode look interesting but it's tough to tell for sure.

She dealt with a baby that had both female and male parts. I've seen this before on "Trapper John, M.D.", which was a spinoff not of the TV series "MASH" but of the movie. |

Episode 7 Thoughts:
In this episode it is Emily and Cassandra's birthdays but Emily is trying to play low-key about it and Cassandra is wanting everyone to notice her.
Emily had to treat a prison inmate who was having heart issues and working side by side with Will since the rules state that she cannot be alone with the patient who is an inmate. Emily is obviously curious about what the man has done and finds out from the guard that he is accused of raping four different women which scares Emily a little bit and makes Will go into protective mode over Emily.
Emily has to also deal with Manuel who is a worker at the hospital who has a collapsed lung after he collapses while making some deliveries at the nurses' stations. Emily learns that Manuel is going under another man's name and identity, this could make the man become deported back to his home country of Guatemala and his young son would have to be raised by an aunt.
Tyra was wearing her hair up in a ponytail in this episode and finally told her father that she is indeed a lesbian and she didn't tell him earlier because she wanted his approval and her father apologized about his affair and they plan to keep that hush-hush from her mother.
Micah's mother is taking medicated marijuana to help with her nausea and it seems to be helping her, and even though she is a bit high now she seems to be in good spirits now.
Will and Emily both had to do two life saving surgeries in this episode. Emily had to help remove the mass from Manuel's lung and Will was furious and didn't want to help out the prisoner with his heart surgery and told the boss Bendari what he thought and so he got kicked out of the room because of it.
Emily also learned that Will planned a birthday party at her apartment which went over fairly well since Will encouraged her to play her cello in front of everyone. Everyone except Cassandra loved it and was very impressed. Cassandra was obviously very jealous that Emily was getting all of the attention and that everyone seems to love and respect her.
Also Bendari threw away the papers of Manuel's and so he will not be deported and he will be staying in the States with his son and the prisoner looked like he was going to recover just be sent back to the prison in the end.
There isn't going to be any new episodes until January 1st so that is going to be interesting.
Personal thoughts:
I think that Micah and Will both are discovering how they really feel about Emily and Cassandra is realizing it isn't always about her but that people love and respect Emily. Emily reminds me a lot of myself because a lot of people love and respect me just for the simplest acts of kindness that I do. Even though I don't always get the attention shone on me, people find a way to get me in the spotlight and noticed.
