So, even if an episode SUCKS ASS there are some fans who'll rave about it anyway.
Who do they remind you of?

About the season 8 opener? Everything...except Jared's hair. Uh, really? I LOVED the new and improved badass Dean. That's the Dean we grew to love in season 1. I'm hoping mopey Sam's problems will be explained in full and that he gets back into the hunting life full bore. We all know that Sam came to the life of a hunter reluctantly.....that he seemed resigned to it after a time, feeling that he could never revert to his old non-hunting life....but after everyone he knew and loved died (seemingly), he decided to ditch it all. I'm sure we'll see a more hardened (is that possible? ) Sam as the season progresses. But, for crying out loud, let the story have a beginning, a middle and an end.

@ Anti: Nope, not even Crowley or Dean. @ SoCal: I'm impatient. Compare the S8 opener to the S5 one...I'm used to having high expectations. I'm not going to be suckered into this season like I was with S7.

Aeryn Yeah, most everybody who stayed with SPN lowered their expectations. I'll never feel about this show what I once did. I'll never watch all of S7. But no reason why I can't enjoy getting analytical about a story online. BTW - As a writer, maybe you would appreciate this link? This writer makes a good case that thematically, S7 was great. I can't agree. But it felt good to hear that there might have been a plan to it all. flutiebear.tumblr.com/post/23052093892/unraveling-the-happily-ever-after-why-supernatural-has
