"Plague Dogs" -Trivia: According to Wiki, " The Plague Dogs is the third novel by Richard Adams, author of Watership Down, about two dogs who escape an animal testing facility and are subsequently pursued by both the government and the media."
I gave the episode top marks because it was exciting, expanded character development, and developed the back story. They answered some burning desire questions and created more questions. Charlie, once again, proved she is a brave girl who takes risks for the team. She also continues to prove she has not learned to stop talking to Miles as if he is her peer instead of her dangerous uncle. "Every person that we meet wants to capture you, kill you, kill us for knowing you, or they are flat out terrified of you." Watching Miles draw his sword raises the excitement level. Even though Maggie does not show emotion at the level of some of the others, she has been as much of a warrior as the others, downright fearless. Would someone please tell our guys that you don't stare at starving dogs when they are ferociously devouring their grub. Plot points are revealed in this episode, so I am going to stop my comments here for the time being.

I am trying to keep my eyes hidden and keep from being spoiled. I won't get a chance to download and see the episode until tomorrow. But here's something I got from TV guide about it: "The Peacock was also king at 10 with its new drama Revolution (3.1/8). The apocalyptic drama — which already received a full-season pickup — beat ABC and CBS in every key demographic and is doing particularly well in the delayed viewing department. Last week, it added 1.64 ratings points in the key demo. It’s about time NBC launched a decent drama, right?" insidetv.ew.com/2012/10/09/nbc-starts-a-revolution-wins-another-monday/

Wonderful information. I'm sure last night's episode will add to future ratings. Thanks.

I finally watched it last night. I gave it a 4. It was a good episode, but really didn't move the story along all that much.
We were right as to who didn't make it, but now, after seeing the episode and what Maggie went through, I was much more sympathetic to her. Ben's finding her "saved her" and she did come to love Charlie and Danny. It was sweet to see Charlie's attitude toward her reveal itself at the end. If someone had to go, she was the logical choice, but it's sad.
As for Neville and Danny, I just didn't find that part of the episode very interesting. The whole tornado.....save Neville...Neville re-captures Danny is getting old. Hope that narrative changes.
Glad to see Miles soften a bit toward Charlie after Maggie's death. I think what she said to him before she died struck a chord.
I found the Rachel leaving Ben and her family facinating. What is going on there. Is she the one who knows what happened to the power.....not Ben? Cryptic ending with her showing up at a militia camp....reporting to Miles....as "ordered." What's going on?
Will Sebastian really torture Danny to get Rachel to talk?
One final note.....has anyone else noticed that no one seems to look 15 years older? Everyone (except Charlie and Danny) seems not to have aged much. Faces don't look 15 years older and hair certainly looks remarkably well preserved. I hope that I age that well, especially in a world WITHOUT POWER FOR 15 YEARS! Come on guys....at least make them look a lot younger when you do the flashbacks and make the present day clothes a little less, shall we say, fitted, well-tailored and fashionable.
With all that nitpicking, I did really enjoy the episode and look forward to next week's installment.

I finally watched it today. Even though I knew that Maggie was gonna die (yes, I read the spoilers, my fault, but it doesn't ruin the episode for me) I cried when she died, especially when Charlie says that everyone always leaves her. That's what made me cry, right there.
This episode was fantastic! The show keeps getting better and better in my opinion.

No one has touched on my burning desire question from last nights episode. Was Rachel tortured?

Ok, my thoughts as I'm watching episode 4:
The scene where the dogs are scavenging a deer and attack the humans reminds me of a story my uncle Donald (my father's twin) told me. He was an MP during the occupation of Japan during WWII, and when they would see dogs eating human bodies they shot them.
Also, since I'm not a Supernatural viewer I have to wonder if the CW has lost Eric Kripke now. My guess is yes. It's hard to compete with a network like NBC that can bring in 8-11 million viewers, as opposed to the CW, where they seem to be struggling this year to crack 2 million.
Add to that the chance to work with both J.J. Abrams and Jon Favreau on this project, and I'd say Kripke is now above anything The CW can afford to pay. Just my take.
Am halfway into the show now and hope we get to see something about Grace.

Have now watched the rest of the episode, and although I'm disappointed that we were able to predict that it was Maggie who was going to die, I was still moved to tears when she actually did. So, they did a great job in my view.

So, they did a great job in my view. Prior to the episode, I thought of Maggie as the most expendable one, probably because the only thing we knew about her was that she lost contact with her children. I think one of the reasons we were so moved when Maggie died is that Kripke gave us a wonderful backstory about a courageous woman who walked hundreds of miles to find a way to get back to her children. Her conversation with Miles about Charlie was an important turning point in the drama also. She made a difference - and then they killed her. By the way, Maggie was the only trained medical person they had.

I was sorry Maggie died.
I was also sorry they didn't move further with getting the power back, but we got a bonus. A flashback where there was still power.
And we got to see more of Maggie's story.
As for Danny and Tom, the experience gave us a chance to see Tom's human side.
I'm not really enjoying the show, but I'm too interested to quit watching.

They are going to show a lot more of Neville's human side. It is going to be interesting, especially since they are comparing his wife to Lady MacBeth.
