Now, I can truthfully say I know a celebrity who was in both radio and television. I will certainly embellish the story of Moon telling ladies he had a truckload of panties. There are so many great stories to tell. Godchaux's had an in-house agency, which means they produced all of their own radio and tv commercials. That saved them about 20% on their advertising costs in the media. At one point there was a sale on baby products of some kind. The agency head decided that they needed 'New York babies' for the spot. Professional babies, you know. (He actually said that.) So, they had a huge casting call for babies up there. I don't know if you have heard this before, but someone who handles such stuff is called a 'wrangler' in commercials and movies. If you have dogs in a commercial, then you have a dog wrangler, for example, who oversees all of the dogs trying out for the commercial. This was the first time I'd ever heard of a 'baby wrangler,' and I probably got way too much enjoyment out of that term.

Although it's not me doing the voice-over, I just found this commercial for the very first FM station I worked at, WAFB-FM in Baton Rouge. Although the video is kinda dark, you can see that it was very artsy for its time, and featured a definite Tron influence. It's at 0:17 in.
