NEW S03, E04(First Aired: November 4, 2012) The group is severed, placing lives in jeopardy; Merle has a request for the Governor
I think this video clip is showing the lighter side of the episode. It is very different than the one posted by SoCal in the promo thread.

I like that too. (Glen 2 Rick 0) And Glen understood Darryl's question. Darryl has a sense of humor now, and he was already perfect in my book.
I watched the episode once and all I can say right now is God *** ****Editing myself for what I really want to say right now.

Jesu freaking christmas! What an episode. Two main characters killed off in one night?? I'm even a little bit sorry about losing Lori since it looked like she and Rick were mending the breach. But to see T-Dog first get chewed on and then sacrificing himself for Carol and get eaten was almost too much. Poor T-Dog. He never really had much of a storyline in the series. I thought more could have been done with him, but......too late now. Looks like Rick made a big mistake turning that one convict out in the yard. He should either have accepted them or killed them. Did both of the remaining convicts survive? I know the one did, but I'm not sure about the guy with the mustashe. Poor Carl. Having to watch his mom sliced open and dying and then having to shoot her in the brain to stop her from turning! I at least loved that Lori finally told him all the things she should have been telling him since the days on Herschel's farm. How in the hell is a newborn baby going to survive? They've got nothing to sustain her. The whole Woodbury story went nowhere last night. Are they leaving or not. Is she going to hook up with Governor or not? Not very interesting. Last night was very bloody and gory. Maybe a little too much so. With Rick's group down by two more, how are they going to survive? And what happened to Carol?

The episode had scenes that would have made a great season finale or a mid-season finale. So much happened so fast and I felt like “this can’t be happening!” When I saw Hershel walking on crutches, I was relieved because Carol would not need to deliver the baby. Then, neither one of them was available to deliver the baby. That was a shocker! Carl has held up amazingly well after the things he has seen and had to do. I am grateful that Lori told him she loved him and that he is a good son, but I am sad that Rick fell apart and could not offer comfort to Carl. Rick took that a lot harder than I expected. I almost feel bad for my negative feelings toward Lori. T-Dog is very popular with the fans, and fans have often asked for the back story on him. When he said let the two prisoners stay with them and no one backed him up, I knew exactly how he felt. It did cross my mind during that conversation that something might happen to him, but I did not think he would die. I had wondered if Merle would go after T-Dog because he dropped the key to the handcuffs, but that is now a moot point. The episode was mostly dark and scary even though there were two lighter moments- Daryl teasing Glenn and everyone being happy that Hershel was walking around. I think Carol is dead and I think both inmates will join the group. Maggie was impressive in the way she handled the baby delivery, but what the heck are they going to do with a hungry, crying baby? We know what Maggie was doing in the shot tower, so maybe she is pregnant and will start to lactate. Woodbury. Governor must have had a low handicap. His golf ball hit the walker dead center of his forehead. Merle is going to look for Daryl no matter what Governor says, but will Governor let Merle walk away? I am interested in how that works out. I hope Michonne tells Andrea to go ahead and get laid so that they can hit the road. It amazes me why people like Governor continue to lie to someone when they know that the person knows they are lying. That was very evident when Governor and Michonne had their conversation. TWD does a much better job of keeping secrets than my other favorite series. I was sure that inmate had been eaten by walkers and that all of the females would survive. Edit: If I remembered to carry the cast pics forward, maybe I would spell the names correctly.

Anti, I find your analysis almost flawless, except for your thinking that Carol is probably dead. I think she gets away and will turn up again next week. Maybe she will be the one to take care of the baby (perhaps in place of her lost Sophia). I was thinking that T-Dog was almost starting to think like Glenn, you know, let the convicts in with the group. I think that's when he wasn't long for the show, but certainly didn't expect him to be eaten alive! Now Andrea is starting to annoy me. Her tough girl attitude while she was with the group at the farm has turned into some kind of wishy-washy sex kitten. You'd think that 8 months on the run with Michonne would have toughened her not made her so indecisive. I forgot to say how glad I am that Herschel seems to have come through. Now that Rick is falling apart, maybe he will become, again, the strong core that keeps the group together. I agree that this show seems to keep secrets quite well. If I were an actor on that show, I wouldn't make any long term housing arrangements.

long term housing arrangements I agree, because, unlike SPN, when these guys come back, we are not happy. I have watched the episode only once, but were some of them walking around without weapons? (I was looking away with a shudder some of the time.) I did not think Carol had a weapon, but I hope you are right. I want her to be alive; she and Daryl were bonding nicely. Every time I see Michonne's sour expression, I think about your comments and laugh. I also agree about Andrea. She has been on the road with Michonne and her two pets for eight months and became a sex kitten. I want to see the tough Andrea who became a sharp shooter.

I know that Carol had a gun, but it looks like she had run out of ammunition. Wouldn't it make sense to carry extra since the guns they carry probably only have 6-9 rounds? I will be interested to see if she turns up next week. I would think that if she died, we would have seen it on screen....with lots of blood and gore.
