Well, this wasn't my favoritie episode, I gave it a 3.
So Woodbury is keeping his dead daughter around -- yuck. And brushing her hair? Wouldn't it have all rotted away by now? Yup, he's gonna be trouble.
So Glenn was digging 3 graves, not 2 as I first thought. Maybe you're right Anti, and Carol is dead. But what happened to her? Since she never turned up in this episode and Daryl laid a rose on a grave, I suppoosed it was hers. If she is dead, I don't think we got a very good idea of just how it happened.
Looks to me like Daryl and Maggie found very little in the way of baby supplies. What they brought back might last 2 days. A newborn is going to need a lot more nourishment than that. Better start looking for some cows or goats to milk, huh? And diapers, too.
Glad to see Michonne take on Govenor and win (and get her blade back and slice up those walkers the town has hidden away) . She knows this whole Woodbury setup has to have a rotten core and Andrea is just too happy to be in a "safe" place to want to see that anything could be wrong.
That is, until the fighting match. That just didn't make sense to me. Why risk one of their men getting nicked by a walker just so the townfolk can overcome their feears of the "biters?" Weak, weak, weak. At least it seemed to knock some sense into Andrea.
Why did the "scientist" complain about the use of power for the party. What does he need it for? How and why is he experimenting on walkers?
So Rick finally seems to have made it to where Lori died. No body. Did that fat walker lying nearby just finish eating her? I'm confused.
Okay......a phone rings??? WTF???
And who/what got buried in the graves Glenn and the two leftover inmates dug? If Lori's body was eaten by the zombie in the cellar and Carol is missing, that only leaves the partial remains of T-Dog. More confusion.
Lots and lots of questions and few answers.....

SoCal, excellent summary. I came in to rate it a 3 and I see you feel the same way. I think the remaining questions stem from a poor editing job. They tried to include too many scenes and the continuity and answers were butchered onto the editing room floor. Yes, Carol is dead. It was intended for us to know that but the editors messed up. Yes, the bloated walker ate Lori. Rick picked up the bullet and turned it over in his hands. He observed the trail of blood and realized the walker had eaten Lori and was so bloated it could barely move. If Carl shot Lori in the head, why would the walker eat her? Maybe I do not understand what they will or will not eat. The Governor has turned out to be too creepy for me. When Andrea kissed him, I wondered how she would feel if she knew what he is really like. She will probably puke her guts out for a week. I think the Governor wants the crazy scientist to find a cure of his baby, Penny. Just guessing. Michonne smiled when she had fun with the walkers and she was real cool with her move on the Governor. I am curious if the Governor is going to have someone track Michonne. I can't imagine him just letting her walk away, can you? The formula was powdered so it will make more bottles of milk than the liquid, but you are right, they will need to make another run. My favorite scene in this episode was Daryl taking the baby and feeding it. That was too sweet. I am going to admit this episode was too scary for me, much too scary. When Glenn approached Rick, I kept yelling at Glenn to not touch Rick, but of course he did! Rick played the best grieving husband I have ever seen.

So T-Dog died for no reason? Carol died anyway? Why did they show her just going out of the door if she was going to die? She was a major character.....I don't understand seeing her walk out the door and then never seeing her again. Poorly handled, IMO.

I am watching the dude who directed the episode talk about how great Daryl was in that episode. He says "Daryl reacts to Carol's death and it was such a great moment and I am sorry it didn't make it into the episode." Then the director said, "Him at Carol's grave putting the Cherokee Rose on there..." Chris Hardwick cut across him exclaiming "Carol's grave?! Is she in there?" The director looked so frustrated. Even the guy who is supposed to give us the inside scoop did not realize Carol was dead and was supposed to be in one of the graves. The only empty one is supposed to be Lori's. They really messed up.

Wow, the actress who played Carol should really be upset about how her character walked out of a door, unharmed, and then disappeared from the series a dead woman! This is one of the first really big mistakes I've noticed.

They kept the "Gladiators" scene that you talked about the guys fighting the walkers instead of doing justice by Carol. Maybe they will show what happened to her in a flashback. I think I learned more about T-Dog from Glenn's comments than I did the entire time he was alive.
This is the most sick crap ever! Maybe Governor and Hershel should chat.

This is one of the first really big mistakes I've noticed. I just read some comments on the YouTube site and people are cussing each other out while debating whether or not Carol is dead. Some saw the same interview with the director that I did, but the others are saying no way is she dead. The show really messed up when they edited the episode. I am going to watch this episode again before tonight's episode. I spent half the time with my head turned because it made me nervous. I must not have been focused because the significance of the title eludes me. Unless it is from the Governor claiming he would let people leave if they ask

Okay, I just watched the episode from the beginning. I realize now that the first time I watched it I turned the episode off after Rick cut open the walker that ate Lori. The gore was making me nauseous.
Very intense episode. I see what people meant about Darryl placing the flower on Carol's grave.
