I couldn't stay awake to watch, so I recorded it. Work up sometime during the night and couldn't go back to sleep so I watched it.
Not my favorite episode of the series so far.
Strausser looks like he's going to be a major big bad and we know Miles is afraid of him but last night, Miles certainly seemed able to fight him off. And if he's so bad, why didn't Miles kill him when he had the chance?
While it was nice to see a little background on Nora, the whole sister meet-up seemed a bit forced. Very fortuitious to have her just when they needed her to lure the group in. And why were they so sure that would work?
Now, her taking the amulet from Aaron and giving it to Strausser was good. Wasn't expecting that....even though we know that's the mission Sebastian gave Strausser.
Oh, and when Miles tried to destroy the pendant and it didn't break, his surprise mirrored mine. What are those things made of?
So Neville's wife is as crafty as he is. The woman behind the man. Pretty awful what they did to the other guy who was Neville's equal (rival?).
So they were going to expell Jason from the nation of Monroe? Interesting that California is a hotbed of rebel activity. Wonder if he'll toe the line now. Probably not.
Rachel looked spooked when Sebastian showed her that he had obtained a pendant. And what was she working on for him?
So we see that when Randall took Grace, he took her somewhere else than to Sebastian. Looks like wherever it is, they have power. Looks like it could be interesting. Oh, and the pendants seem to have a built in GPS so Randall must know where all of the are, shouldn't he?
So, like I said, not the best, but pretty good. Sometimes they try to fit why too much into an episode and it just gets muddled.
Am I way off base here?

I was getting bored until Nora's sister turned out to be a traitor. Again, I liked the flashbacks.
At least we are progressing ever so slowly to getting the power back on. It was a real surprise to see that map.

Watching the episode right now, and trying not to get spoiled beforehand.

I just watched the episode and I will give it a 3. I was very excited to see what would happen between Miles and Stausser. Although they had a little clash, I am sure the big confrontation should come before the end of the season. Miles is probably afraid of him because he is a sociopath and enjoys inflicting pain. Strausser did exhibit some ethics when he let Nora and her sister leave. I did not think he would keep his word. I understand now why Neville's wife was compared to Lady MacBeth. She plants thoughts in Neville's mind; she might wind up getting him killed for treason. I thought Neville despised his son, but he had a hateful expression when he stared at the guy who had a part in causing Jason to be in trouble with Monroe. Neville is disappointed in Jason, but he is not going to let someone hurt him. They had me fooled regarding who had taken the pendant. I did not expect Strausser to get his hands on it and give it to Monroe. Now we can learn how they control the pendant. SoCal, I don't think you are off base regarding the pendants. That was an impressive looking map that Randall used to track the pendants. The way Grace originally ran from Randall made me think he was a killer, but he does not seem to be harming her. I wonder how he expects Grace "to take care of it". Also, I thought we were going to learn what made the power go off so I was not happy with Rachel's response of does it really matter? I told Monroe to slap the answer out of her, but I don't think he heard me.
