The bad guys are back on Nov 27!! Does anyone know how many episodes there will be? The cable networks drive me crazy with this truncated season: 7 episodes then a 2-3 month hiatus and the 7 more epiosdes before a long summer(?) hiatus. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! You're killing us.

Nov. 27 seems to be the only new episode scheduled for right now. That is weird.

Really? That is very wierd. I recorded it so I'll have to watch and see if any future episodes are mentioned. I thought the commercials leading up to Nov 27 stated that "''new episodes return Nov 27." Sounded like the series was returning for a winter run. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

There are indeed going to be new episodes after the Nov 27 mid-season premiere.
Good!

, I was reading over at TV Guide that this "might" be the last season of Leverage, since the ratings have been down a little this year. I admit that the last 2 seasons have been different than the other seasons, but it is still better than some of the other shows on TNT. Franklin and Bash? Rizzoli and Isles? I don't like those, I like Leverage not happy about this

I am catching up on Leverage. I lost interest last season.
I watched "The Low Low Price Job (11/27/12)" in which a chain hardware store was using illegal practices to undersell Mom and Pop stores. This was the Leverage I always loved. They were amusing and clever and tried to use several different cons because their opponents were also clever. It was very good.
Then, I watched "The White Rabbit Job (12/4/12)" in which a formerly nice guy was undercutting his own company. Nate told Sophia to head the con because she had been successful in the White Rabbit con before. The con was too complicated for my taste but I enjoyed the episode anyway. They seemed like the old cohesive team and worked well together.
I noticed in both episodes that Nate and Hardison had not changed, but Elliot never hit anyone, Parker did not do any acrobatics or punch anyone, and they (thankfully) dialed down Sophia's diva-ism.
Watched part of "The Corkscrew Job (12/11/12)" which is about a crooked winery exec. Have not finished it yet though.

Stories just aren't as good this season. Too much corporations = bad, down-trodden employees = good. I like the more shoot-em-up of the first two seasons.

Me too. At least let Elliot beat someone up.

Yeah. Lately he's been too....touchy-feely. More punching, less kissing.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I read yesterday where Leverage was canceled. I think TNT made a big mistake doing this and I will miss Leverage

I didn't know that! If they had stuck to the original formula instead of toning it down, it would have done fine. They made the team all lovey-dovey and sweet. Darn it! I really like the characters except for the diva.

Yup, I just saw a commercial advertising tomorrow night's episode and called it the "series finale." That's what happens when they mess with a good idea and turn it into weekly morality plays. It started out as such a good show. Too bad.

It started out as such a good show. Too bad. I am watching the episode now. You said they are all about corporations being the big bad and you are correct. This one is about Christmas toys but it is about a corporation selling toys they know are a choking hazard. I'm going to watch it since it is probably the last episode. Edit: The finale comes on at 10 PM tonight. "The Long Good-bye Job". I'll have to watch it.

Last night's episode was the best of the current season. THIS is the show I loved. If the rest of the season's episodes had been half as good as this one, perhaps Leverage would not have been cancelled. It was a terrific show, up until this current season started. then we got a bunch of wishy-washy episodes that were pretty weak. Also, the current practice of going on months long hiatuses wreaks havoc with viewing practices of the public. Stupid networks. A good show is now history because a stupid network couldn't managed the program better.

I didn't even mind Nate on one knee. They finally gave us what they wanted - at the end.

SoCal and Anti, I agree with you, the last episode was great.
I think if the show would have gotten the exposure of some of the other shows and if they would have kept the season "more together and not spread it out over such a long time" it would have done much better.
