‘Supernatural’ Nominated for Four People’s Choice Awards

Supernatural is the People’s Choice! We got four nominations this year, up from two last year (where Supernatural won both times). So now it’s time to vote.

For the fifth year in a row, SPN is nominated for Favorite Sci Fi/Fantasy Show. It’s only won twice, so make sure it gets a third win by voting early and often. We’re also nominated for the new category, Favorite TV Fan Following (that;s actually US!). We know we can win that one.

Finally, I have some bittersweet news. Jensen AND Jared are both nominated for Favorite Dramatic TV Actor. Which means you’re forced to choose.

SoCal, thanks. I voted in our categories. Actually, it was not difficult for me to select "favorite ... actor". I would have missed this if you had not posted it. I was so angry last year when J&J were not on stage that I unfollowed People's Choice and sent them angry messages.

And Anti, the only sad thing is that Jared is up against Jensen. I like both actors, but I think Jensen is a better actor than Jared.

So sad to have to choose between them.

And it did not go unnoticed that Supernatural is NOT up for best drama....a category they won last year. I'm sure the pinheads running the show just didn't want them to win again and FORCE them to have Jensen and Jared onstage this time. Twerps.

It is strange that the show that won best drama last year is off the list. I think they were shocked and disappointed that Supernatural won, but did not know what to do about it. Jerkazoids!

That was the first thing I noticed to. I guess the People's choice wanted to ensure that Supernatural didn't win best drama again. Idjits. I did my vote I think they are trying to split the best actor vote so neither Supernatural actor wins. That way they only have to award Supernatural Best Sci fi and best fan following. If the fandom could all agree to vote for one actor then we can trump their sorry asses. Huh time for a poll.

Jensen and Jared's names appear on the guest list for the 2013 "People's Choice Awards."

I guess the organizers learned from last year's total FU that these two should be on the invite list.

I hope they win since they're going to be there!

Darn it! That is great news, but now I feel guilty because I voted but did not vote regularly like I did last time. I wonder how close they are.

Then again, maybe I'll just wait until someone else posts videos of them.....that way I don't have to listen to the moronic stuff that goes on on awards shows.

I'll tell you what happened last year. I set the DVR to record both the "red carpet" pre-awards show where they chat with celebrities as they arrive (shown on a different channel) and the actual awards ceremony. I was shocked that some of the awards presentations were made during the red carpet segment. Those people were never called to the stage. The only reason I recorded that crap was to see Jensen and Jared so I was royally pissed off, and that resulted in the only time I have written a poison pen letter to a network.

I will record it, but I will fast forward at maximum speed because the chit-chat and the acceptance speeches make my skin crawl.

I plan on recording the PCA and watching the show the next day. After I have found out that Supernatural won best scifi show and Jensen/Jared won best dramatic actor.

We won and the guys accepted the award on screen... of course I was watching online, so I am only assuming it was also on the TV.

But, we won best SciFi again and best Fans...

It was really great to see the guys there together and they got a few seconds to thank people before they presented the Best Band award. They were all coordinated and adorable. We saw them briefly with their wives on the red carpet and it looked like Danneel has a little baby bump. Everybody looked fabulous! The show winning didn't give me much of a charge compared to previous polls... but seeing the guys accept the award was really great!

Just saw a bunch of photos from the PCA's at The Winchester Family Business website and all I can say is......who dressed Jensen Ackles?
His suit looked two sizes too small!
He usually looks so great when he's cleaned up and in a sharp suit, but whoever put that shiny maroon outfit on him should never be allowed near him again!

Deadbeat, thank you for posting the picture and video clip. I am very happy for Jared and Jensen and the fans that they won and that they had the opportunity to be presenters. Finally, PCA showed them some respect. I was a little worried that our disappointment after the fans worked so hard last year would lead to less enthusiasm about voting. Another resentment laid to rest.

SoCal, in the picture, it looks like the boys' suits are color coordinated. Jared is wearing a maroon shirt to match Jensen's suit, etc.

Did I nail this or what. The people's choice set up that catogory so Nathan Fillion would win and it worked perfectly for them. Oh at least got to see Jensen and Jared present and award.

Anti, I noticed how they were coordinated, but Jared's suit seemed a very good fit, while Jensen's looked two sizes too small. Did you look at al the pics at the other website? I think you might agree Jensen doesn't look his usual "stylin" self.

Jared collar was also flipped funny while they were presenting. I wanted to reach through my TV and fix it. It was hurting my OCD eyes to see it.

Did anyone else notice that while Jensen was thanking lots of the creators of the show, he left out Sera Gamble? Think he just forgot, or maybe he wanted to forget her?

You know he would have gagged if he tried to say her name. When he was placed next to Sera at conferences, he would lean so far in the opposite direction, it was almost embarrassing.

Yes, you are correct Anti, Just go back and look of videos where Jensen is in the same interview or conference or anything where they are together, you can tell by his body language and his answers to her comments, he could not stand the woman toward the end.
