You think Andrea is going to turn against the governor? Are any of the people left at the prison going to get killed? The suspense is killing me!

Just got back from watching it at my friend's house, and it was such a treat to see it with him and his wife. I brought mass quantities of microwave popcorn, so it was kinda like being at the movies. I can't believe Andrea still hasn't figured out that the Governor is a bad guy, even after seeing the aquarium of zombie heads and the daughter. But I think he pretty much sealed his death warrant by betraying Merle and pitting him and Darryl against one another. No way that's gonna work out good for the Gov. Damn, the time just flew by watching that episode. It seemed like had only been on for about 20 minutes, then it was over.

I was very surprised new characters were introduced, but I am not surprised they killed the ex-con.
Michonne was awesome! The Governor thought Merle had killed her and there she was with her hands on his little Penny. Governor's plea to not harm Penny just made it more pleasurable for Michonne. It was obvious Andrea was not going to leave with her so I think Michonne's remark to Rick is an indication that she wants to remain with the group rather than go off on her own. I don't think she was that scared of Rick killing her.
Getting stabbed in the eye with a shard of glass must not be as devastating as I thought since Governor was still able to function. It startled me when Governor accused Merle of being a traitor, but then I remembered Merle did say he had killed Michonne, so the Governor will never trust him again. I want to see how Merle and Daryl get out of this.
Andrea has some important decisions to make concerning the knowledge she has about the Governor, but she probably does not feel any loyalty towards Rick's group. I do not recall if she had rapport with Daryl since he was sort of a loner. I do remember that she shot him because she thought he was a walker.
Now I think Rick is right in not trusting strangers. The prison is huge and that dude wants to harm the people who gave them shelter. If they do try anything and fail, the next time Carl sees someone in danger, he might shoot them instead of helping.
Is Rick going to try to rescue Daryl or opt for getting Glen and Maggie to safety?

OK, I thought it was a pretty good episode, but not the best. I gave it a 3.
The running gun battle was surprisingly not all that exciting. Noisy, yes, but, wow, lots of bad shots! Sorry to see the one convict from the prison get offed. He seemed like good people. Glenn and Maggie have a miraculous escape.
Where are they getting all these armaments? Smoke bombs?
Glad to see Michonne in action. When she killed the governor's creepy zombie daughter, I cheered. And, man, did he go nuts. Why wasn't he more surprised that she's alive when Merle was going to tell him she was dead. A glass shard in the eye?!? Gross.
Andrea is in a pickle. I have to think she didn't know until Daryl turned up at the end, that perhaps it was people in her group that were "the terrorists."
You think Merle and Daryl will have to fight to the death?
What about the new group at the prison? I loved how Carl told Beth, when she said they should help them, "I did." He's become one tough kid.
And now.....into a winter hellatus.
From the little snippets they showed of the episodes that are coming up, it looks like Daryl survives......so maybe it's curtains for Merle.

Because of the episode with the Gladiator battle, I was thinking the same as you. Governor might throw them into a pit and have them fight each other. Governor is sick enough that he might toss some walkers in with them, but this time they would have teeth.

His one eye has gotten strangely crazy looking.

I would like to think that after all of this waiting for Merle to resurface that there was something more than just a battle to the death to look forward to. This is rich territory to mine.
Looks like a wound to the eye doesn't drain much, from what we saw. Even if The Governor got the scientist to stitch it up, it still would have looked a lot grosser with the patch on than it did.
