Okay, she's not Sarah Jessica Parker, who is currently in a recurring role on "Glee".
But I'm willing to give it a chance because I liked the character in one of the movies.

It will debut after Gossip Girl goes off the air for good this month.

Violet in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and Leslie in "Bridge to Terabithia". And I believe I saw her movie in the "American Girl" series, which may have been on The WB.

I Wont be watching I don't watch Cw anymore however I'd like to write them and tell them that those of us who watched sex and the city on HBO with Sarah Jessica Parker, know that Carrie did not go to NYC as a teen,
She was already a grown adult woman working, with an apartment ,friends and lots of shoes lol

She was already a grown adult woman working, with an apartment ,friends and lots of shoes lol Well, some of us watched "Smallville" knowing Clark didn't meet Lois when they were teenagers and Lex wasn't Clark's best friend (althoug technically Pete was, even on the show). I like it! A lot. I was looking forward to hearing good music on a CW show for a change. Actually, I didn't recognize about half the songs, and unfortunately, there are new and weird versions of "Madonna's "Material Girl" and Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" (though Cyndi's did follow the other, depressing one; I just wonder how many teenage girls knew both were the same song). But many of the songs were familiar to me, and although I didn't like most of them, there was something comfortable about hearing songs that were popular when I was in college. I can't remember for sure, but "Summerland" on The WB definitely had a song from my college days, even though the song was 25 years old at the time. But "Whip It" was quite cutting-edge for its time. And the man who did that song is this show's music director! I really like this show. Did I mention that? I can't believe I'm saying it needs more high school scenes, but I enjoy those. The big-city stuff is great, though. How does she get away with missing one day of class each week, though, even if her internship is for credit?

The second episode wasn't as good as the first. I thought I wanted more of the high school students, but they're just like all the other CW characters. I still enjoy watching Carrie in the big city breaking the rules and making things happen. I noticed Larissa had the latest cell phone. I didn't think anyone would have them back then, but I guess she would. "The Love Boat", of course, had the best music. I'm still not all that happy with the music on this show.

The Thanksgiving episode was the second-best.
I missed the Halloween episode thinking it was a rerun. Hopefully it will be on again.
I was so high on drugs the previous week I thought I had seen the episode before. I told them I didn't need pain medication and I felt so much better. I later found out they gave me something to help me sleep which didn't.

Last night's was pretty good. I love the music from "The Nutcracker". And even one of the songs from the 80s was good--"Freeze Frame" by The J. Geils Band at the dance.
"It's My Life" by Talk Talk was the only other song I recognized. Not that I liked it, but I knew it.

I did not hear "I Want Candy" by Bow Wow Wow at the time it was popular unless that was The Strangeloves, but why would it be?).
I can't remember now if any other songs I knew were on the episode.
I feel bad that Carrie got caught. Now she can't have adventures in the city. Or can she?
That magazine she worked for was unbelievable. Surely the place was too good to be true.

"Eye of the Tiger" I knew, of course.
I was worried because the show focuses so much on the city. I didn't see how Carrie would ever get back there. But it worked out. And the story lines with the other girls were cute.

I'm so glad Carrie is back in the city. I liked the episode. Especially Mouse's efforts to get into an Ivy League school.

Is this really ending next Monday? We know the ratings make a second season unlikely. I hope the episode I missed thinking it was a rerun is still online. Somehow I don't think they'll repeat all the episodes. Oh right, I haven't posted here since I saw it. That wasn't exactly yoga Carrie's father was doing, but everyone was wearing socks. Except for Charlie Harper who wore socks to do everything--and I mean everything--people don't wear socks for yoga. That was fun watching carrie try to deliver that package to Andy Warhol.

Okay, one more episode after this one, but that's not enough.
I'd better find the Halloween episode online, if I can, just in case they don't have reruns.

There is one site but they asked for my credit card number.
It might be a good idea to try it out. They didn't say how much the site cost. All I saw was a link to try it free.
Still, I hope they'll do reruns anyway.
I enjoyed the last episode enough that I don't want the series to end.

Well, you get what you pay for. I gave the site my credit card number, and I was able to use the site free for several days, but I just sat there while waiting for the word "loading" to go away. Actually, I went to other sites and kept coming back to "loading". Perhaps I should have waited another week or until later in the day because I had an appointment at 10:00 relating to my injury.
If that was the end I'm not happy. I want more.

One thing I forgot: if Larissa is from Ghana, why isn't she darker?
