A new show premieres (at least here in the U.S.) on SyFy, tonight, Monday, January 14. It's called "Continuum." Looks like it could be good. I'm going to watch the first episode, at least.

Thanks SoCal. This looks like my kind of show. I see it is coming on at 11 PM EST so I set it to record, but I'll probably watch it when it airs. Will you watch it tonight?

I watched. Interesting premise. Fairly enjoyable. Will wait until I've seen a few more episodes to give it a real rating. But at least it was good enough to make me want to watch the next episode.
Lucky for me, it's on @ 8 pm!

I watched it at 11, but I can watch future episodes at 8 PM. It was 10 PM when I read your thread, so I am happy it was repeated.
My first impression was that the enforcer would join the rebels after being sent back in time (like so many movies like Logan's Run). Lady, did I guess wrong?! This was the most exciting pilot I have seen in a long time, and the background was easy to understand. Alec's story is going to be mind-boggling.
I have learned to not strain my brain in trying to understand time travel, so I will just take their word for it and enjoy the show.

I was completely taken by surprise by the "young - old" Alex. Jeez, if Alex was about 20 in 2012, that would make him 85 in 2077. He didn't look that old. Of course, in the future maybe Botox is in greater use!

So Kiera (Linda) has managed to get herself part of the police department. Carlos sure doesn't hold a grudege after she tazed him and left him handcuffed to the inside of the elevator.
I was a bit confused by the attempts of the convicts to go back to the future. What had they accomplished in the past and why go back to a time when they were under a death penalty.
And what happened? Why didn't it work?
Slightly unsatisfying episode but I'm intrigued enough to keep watching.

Alec must have done an amazing job creating her history. Carlos' said something to Kiera about "when they look for a file, they really look" which caused me to think he was letting her know he was not sure she is who she says she is. But the remark did not really make sense to me.
Yeah, I think Carlos is taking the tazing and handcuffs much too calmly. I think the humiliation of the other officers seeing him like that would be enough for him to want payback.
I thought they were going to be successful in going home and I don't know why it did not work. They want to be six years prior to the opening events so they can prevent the corporations from taking over. They do not want to go to the exact year that they left.
I am enjoying the show also and although I am not a time travel student, I realize that the information Alec is learning now about his allies will have an impact and change the future Alec.

Not too sure about this last episode. Bogging down a little. Carlos is looking a little stupid as is the rest of the police force if a stranger can walk in and just be accepted as a fed.
I guess Alec has incredible computer skills, but it's a little sketchy to me.
Still watching, though.
